Hey Sorry I did not get to answer you sooner but the trade was taken as a bounce off the MAs. The black is the 200 and the dashed MAs are the 50(blue and 62(purple). Also if you look on the M15 rpice bounce right off the 200ma there as well. And I am already out of that trade for a cool 100 pips.

are we looking at a DBLHC on 1hr GU?

Is there a "system" behind the second entry (set a PO at the open of the second candle) for that?

You mentioned it a couple of weeks ago - I mean the 2nd entry and not the system.

On a Side note, this is for anyone who is good with chart patterns, as I am not too schooled or confident in trading them but did this head and shoulders on the EURUSD m15 chart work the way it was supposed to or am I just misinterpreting it?

I think after the break out of the symmetric triangle which you mentioned earlier we got a retest and are now ready for a further move down.

We are currently in a very strong downtrend, none of the candles since it started have been able to close above the 10ma on the 1hr chart. Rather than just looking for counter trend trades, count how many pips you could have got today on anything in a strong downtrend like this if you went short every time it hit the 10/21/35 mas on the 15min chart with a 25 pip stop loss.

Hi, Ahsanfx, I'm not an expert, but it think it would be difficult to draw a "neckline", which is an important part of a H&Sh pattern.

(On the other hand, with a bit of imagination it can be considered as a not perfect example of the pattern. In any case, Fib 161,8 attained.)

Based on the chart you posted, I would assume the circled candle i highlighted in the chart below would be the neckline break and a possible trade setup would be at the close of that candle.

I'm not Captain, but it may help.
"Two or more candlesticks with matching bottom. They can be composed of real bodies or shadows. These occur on consecutive or nearby candles. Indicates a bearish trend is ending, and perhaps a reversal is in the works. " (babypips)
