Additional info for those who want to understand the Heiken Ashi:

Also, in your "Properties" section, just make sure you have in your "common" tab set to "chart on foreground" and in your "colors" tab your line graph color is set to "none." This way on your MT4 platform, you're able to either click the line chart icon in order to view the HA candles; or, click on the Candlesticks icon for viewing regular Japanese candlesticks. You can adjust the color of the regular candlesticks in your color tab. To get to your "Properties" tab just right click your mouse on the chart and at the bottom you'll see "Properties." (F8) I hope this is of some assistance to those who were unaware of this little maneuver.

Regarding the Heikin_Ashi_MA_T3-1 indicator. If you have "alerts" set to FALSE will you still receive e-mails (assuming you have "emails" set to true) ?

I like the looks of this system for longer term trades. Im trying to replicate this on a different charting platform. I have 3 primary questions which would greatly help in getting this set up:

1. The HA T3-1 indicator - what exactly triggers the up/down arrows? Ive attached a chart with my "guess" as to possible up arrows.

2. What exactly is the Trend Lord, and what specific settings are used to create it? What is its data point(s)?

3. The W-LNX - what exactly is this, and what are the specific settings to create it? What is its data point(s)?

Im sure there are others here who dont use MT4 that would like to test this approach, but its difficult (if not impossible) if one doesnt use the MT4 platform. It would be very much appreciated if someone could provide these specific explanations/settings/parameters etc of the indicators utilized. Thank you very much in advance for any/all help provided to those of us that are not MT4 users!

This indicator shows nothing more than the colour of the HA candles. So, with it you can get rid of the ugly Heiken Ashi patterns that do nothing but hide the real price action from our eyes.

Yes, I know the theoretical approach how the shape of HA candles should be used in trading. But I was never able to find any practical use for the knowledge. I have monitored HA colour with some systems but never the shape or pattern of either HA or ordinary candles.

Just saved it using File > Save as image then I edited it just using the modest Paint .

Hi Night rider I would like to use the AO alert but I do not know how to set it up in my platorm. I would prefer to haave a text message sent to me but either would keep me from staring at the screen.

Could you post how to set up the settings in the platform? I use gmail and yahoo for email. I am using fxdd for my broker.

I just received an alert signal from HA, but the h4 bar not yet close, I think have to wait for 4 hours to get the bar close in order to confirm the trend, do we have any alternative method to be set for trading?

The AO is below the 0 line and the trend lord bars are red. NO TRADE! Price is ranging right now.
