Igrok, do you think that correlations are powerful traders’ tools (those between two currency pairs and between currencies and other markets) and if so, which ones should we concentrate at ?


that's another tough question missed by "THE MASTER" (what a pity)

Apparently gold and USD have a direct and inverted correlation. DJIA and USD also have such but for some periods of time it's straight and for some it's inverted. Such periods usually last for months and even years before reversing to the opposite. Crosses do play important part and have to be taken into consideration while chosing a certain pair for trading. There is a strong possibility that starting from near future and perhaps even as early as today the AUD and CAD will be losing ground against the buck faster than the other majors.

What worries me is that the H&S on DJI in my opinion is still valid... do you have the same opinion about that ?
