Great thread everyone, keep up the good work. I to like the close on friday on the EURUSD. IF you look at the volume on the FX futures the spike may well be buying.

I like the $ for this week, I think is bearish week, daily candle on Friday close like a Kabuse:

It looks like we got sellers around 1.78, take that number in mind.

On weekly charts, the past week candle close with indecision, but past PA was bearish, so, I'm short biased on $ yet, target around 1.74 first:

Please be careful going long on the pound.
Right to the pip, bearish on neck on weekly candle + black of bozu, the pound is getting hammered, note the weekly close below 2.74 = strong bearish signal, we could see the second crow on weekly charts this week [?].

For all sushi lovers

Hanging Man & Evening Doji Star [Confluence of candles] in daily charts = Bearish sign, but, be careful, sushi is pretty hard to trade.

On Weekly charts, we could see the bullish harami working pretty well, but, is time to tank again, 500 FL from last down move @51.75, a close below/above is the key in sushi [at this moment is below].

Hi Mac,

Great analysis done by you. We are definately in a major downtrend in GBP as it has broken yearly pivot as well.

But i am looking for a short countertrend trade in GBP. I am expecting a full fib retracement from jan 19 high of around 1.64 and feb 19 low of around 1.53.

I am long in GBP. I will hold the position for 1-2 days to see how it is going.

I can see on my UJ chart kind of invalid bearish harami candle. The previous candle with not so long body and with long lower wick.
The last candle with long upper wick, seems to me rather us a kind of "star with gap down" which meant close previous higher then current open and close current a bit below then half previous body.All that tells me there isn't end of this...


Yes you are right Mac. I think it is not exactly a shooting star- It is a small type of pattern forming like a shooting star but not exactly shooting star.

I take it as a reversal signal. I am not taking any trade in USD/JPY as it looks to me it is not trending at the moment but it is in a range.

I think , if GBPlfx daily can close today as a indecision ( kind a short white day) , we can see continuation tomorrow up to SL at 2.70xx.
LfxJpy can go lower up to 51.15xx (dark cloud cover perhaps) which can create third crow on GJ.
However, there is bottom TL on GBPlfx.
Let's see can it break.

I agree with you, however on weekly Eurlfx the doji star is eleventh candle on the run.
In my point of view it can be a continuation down to hit 2.37xx level as a thirteenth reversal - candle ( kind of star ) or I'm wrong.
