ok im confused malcom,

ok i hav not traded usd chf b4 but dont they correlate with gold. when gold goes up usd chf goes down vice versa isnt it.

What exactly behind the Euro strength at the moment malcomb? I feel doubt and why do you want to take long although the Euro weakness is still?

A important zone for the EUR is approaching. The thrust out of the low of 3400 will have some difficulty penetrating this zone of trendlines. Keep an eye on this zone for next week. A good sell might be waiting there. Trendline Mesh is being observed around the 3670-3700 zone

YEP, Trendlines as S/R in Combination with DIVERGENCES at such zones are the MOST POWERFUL signals in trading to me.

I dont care about Pivots or Fibs

that is assuming the Dow will continue its bear trend. However, Dow closed above 50SMA... it looks like a solid trend.

nothing moves in straight lines

check out the weekly .... stopped by the 61.8% fib retrace , ended on do ji

1.3614 close ... above that next week go long ... pretty simple

dj weekly is coming off a rounded bottom after a dip on Greec worries ... 11000 could be tested next few weeks

look at weekly ...I will be looking to buy dips unless 1.3500 taken ouit now

This retracement today is not surprising considering that Euro net short positions hits new record at 59,000. But don't go thinking that the $$ bulls are going away any time soon. Italy's probrlems are going to get more and more press and Italy is a much bigger part of the EU. Italy's problems will be worse than Greece's. Timing the next short entry is the key.

I've got to agree. We're coming off a new low, and swinging through one level of resistance for a retracement isn't unexpected after dropping 8 cents from the last major consolidation. Maybe this is the bottom, and maybe these bottom pickers are extremely gifted, but I think they're more likely to find themselves left with smelly fingers.
