it's not nice to doubt the feds when they start being hawkish...they were mad that nobody was taking their word at face value...so they did a little whipping...hehehehe

Ever since the Euro started dropping from 1.42 I've been trading 90 % against the trend without stoploss, with lots of 2 and leverage 1:100 (starting demo account 50 000 €). The possibility of demo accounts allows me to test all kind of "crazy" strategies. Not sure I can recommend this really. In my two latest "critical" situations with buy trades, a group of them went from - 12 000 $ to - 20 000 $, but both times the trend bounced up enough for me to be able to end up with some profit (mostly opening new buy trades during reverse of the trend and closing the older ones in loss when it was minimized by my projection). I'm now currently around 40 % profit in 2 months of trading (profit was reduces a bit because I had to learn on my own that Forex bots don't work), but currently with - 12000 $ in opened buy trades. I'll see how the current situation develops, but if I exit this one during next week in profit once more, hrm...I might seriously consider this strategy with a real account.

tradeguider picked up no demand .... hit it 20 pip stop ...1.3493 entry

if you know how to read it and how it relates to candles vsa is the only way to trade for me .. a little VSA , some s/r levels and 2 hour variable pivots ... good weapons for day trading

this morning posted going short 1.3640 ... will post why later if it works. Unfortunately the head cold I have is not making me think straight today .. got out with +10 pip

I've never really watched volume in the currency markets but I've always wondered about how they could help... I don't like indicators at all but volume may be something worth looking at. I suppose I can get volumes for the 6E contract in Ninja Trader.

Any places you can point me to read up on this? I always just watch candle formations to figure volume but if the VSA is helpful with the candle formations I might want to look at it.

What is 2H variable pivots? Would be great if you post often TG charts so we can see VSA signals there.

variable pivots caqn be set for any time frames

I set mine to 2 hours , pivots , high low and close .....

when things get insane like this I set to 60 min

right now i know price is under close prior 60 min at 1.3475 . breaks this I close sell and wait for re entry

I am going to be much happier if price gets under 1.3450

does any one have any downside targets....? seems support weekly 1.3480 / 1.3370

the 4hour closes last 3 x 4 hour candles have all been lower .. betters to sell rallies until 1.3500 taken out. ... way safer , although there is a little support 1.3450 zone for now
