Can someone tell me what the hell just happened!!!I knew the last 4hr close was showing short but this is crazy!!

wow what a drop, just wish i would of been short instead of long on it. i thought that it would hold up at 1.5553. do you think the next stop is 1.5344?

We could be at 1.5300 and below very easy by tomorrow this time.I have a support at 1.5345 on my 4hr but do not know if that will even hold her tomorrow.It is crazy Friday coming up so who knows.

it can be tough to trade during times like this since this is solely based on news. it may have ended up there anyway over the next day or so, but since it's news all S/R are void. Unless you have a trade that is open in the direction of the movement, it's best to stay out for a while...just my two cents.
we should be good for a long back up to 55xx

I make it a habit not to trade the news. From time to time I am in it, but I like normal markets. Just my opinion.

i agree. I steer clear of news all together. when i entered i thought that perhaps the news cycle had wound down. I wasn't paying attention to the time and saw after i exited (thankfully) that tokyo was opening.

this was one of those blind sided news events though. nobody saw it coming...except those bastard FEDS!! ARGH!!!!

Recently my trading is not good. I tried to trade 1h62ema and 15m 35/50ma, but I failed a few times. I know it is not 100% sucess. But I still want to increase the percentage of sucess. So can anybody give some sugggestions on how to confirm it will work or not? thanks a lot.

to be honest "I THINK" this market has been pretty difficult to trade. my sys runs on a 5M chart and it's been very out of character. i've had to modify my entries and exits quite a bit.

the news event from this afternoon is a perfect example. the FED released an unexpected news event and GU dropped over 200 pips in three hours. That defeats ANY system because nobody could have expected that.

I know this doesn't help your trading specifically, however, i hope you can grasp two things here.

1) It's of the utmost important to stay flexible and with that money management is key.
2) Every system, in all its perfections has times when it just won't work and that money management is key. (yes i sadi that twice)

Sometimes this game isn't about making money, it's about NOT losing it which is why money management is key.
