Based on Ichimoko i see a very bearish allignment on all indicators at least this is what the weekly outlook looks like right now.

Anyone care to comment or any insight? Because what is HIGHLY intrigueing is the bearish breakout below the Kumo

Discount rate is not the Fed Funds rate. Fed Funds rate will not rise till at least mid 2011.

imo the fed funds rate will follow...give it a quarter but i'll take the bet that they raise the rate before the end of this yr in the states...

edit:reasoning is banks and us can borrow pretty cheap as it is, we all know this. credit sucks but if you have it, paper is cheap and easy to borrow right now. They can only keep trying to prop us up w/ low rates before major inflation kicks in (even worse than it's been)...dollar will keep going up until euro issues go away...which may never happen

I feel very shock the rate is rising. It suppose not to rise.

I think we're gonna have a big bull vs. bears battle around here. If bulls win 3650 is the next battleground by my estimation. If bears win 1.2750 (in my estimation).

es has reversal set up now i expect that raise in discount rate may bring ES under 1090 tomorrow , also tomorrow is options expiry in the markets

I have this odd feeling tomorrow is going to be a wild one
