Like shown on your graph, there is divergence for going south but it can pull back for a bit before it goes down.
actually, i did take note of the divergence and thought that it had exhausted once it had landed at the support, hence the thoughts of bouncing back off the support line and double top .... looks like it obliged u and broke the support ..
anyway, didn't take any position for scalp as couldn't be at the pc.

i use MACD 8,17,9 on Daily chart..
but, when i applied ur parameters on the hourly chart it looked quite interesting ... will keep an eye on ur parameters in future ...
