Sure the economies will still be weak overall during the timeframe this plays out, but Europe appears to have greater amount of uncertainties now as opposed to the US. It also appears that pressure on China is being turned up which should make other nations exports become more competitve (finally). This should strengthen dollar along with signs of US economy growth which will conjur the idea of rate...


there are a lot of variables that come into play. no one can be sure. From a purely tech pattern standpoint, my prediction is in favor with probability.

long term(>1.5 yrs) i am a dollar bull unquestionably, but right now ive closed all my shorts and im starting to build longs( i cant believe ive just said that)

i dont weigh much of my trading on fundamentals, theyre flawed. The only thing that doesnt lie is raw data(charts). Im getting some signals now that this trend is coming to an end.

Haven't been in the market much the last week, a few trades here and there. Interesting to see $$ strength and US equity strength in the same day, I wouldn't have thought this correlation would have gone from negavtive to positive in one session. Possibly something fishy going on then? Which one: equities or $$ strength is faking everyone out for the next move. Time will tell, complete speculation on my part at this point.

So you are saying FEDS would increase rates on themselves to pay potentially

billions of $$$ more in interest monthly with 12 trillion $ DEBT on the balance

sheet? When you have a time, you can calculate how much $$$

perhaps 3% from 12 trillion on yearly basis, whole US GDP wouldn't be

enough to cover interest payments alone. I'm sure general Idea is just a

jawboning about interest rates rise on monthly basis,

without actually doing anything.

As general rule C can't be lower than A because it might invalidate the pattern but look at yesterday's case when C was lower than A and it worked.

I have .3687 (right at middle) 50.0% fibo retra. from recent drop.

you say AB=256pips and BC=256pips but C is clearly above A... doesn't make sense...

I would just like to take some time to say...

In reading over thousands of posts on here and seeing everyone's different viewpoints and analysis, this Forex thing is pretty cool. Its fascinating to see so many different opinions. Some of the analysis done here is very well thought out. I admire alot of the posters in here and some of the ideas or thoughts they come up with. It helps me see things I didn't see or see them in a different way. Sure from time to time you get garbage such as immature comments, poor analysis or comments with people who have ulterior motives. With time though the best sure do stand out and are proven right more often than not. So thanks to all, especially those that are truly helpful and genuine.

Forex has not only helped me better understand the world and its economies, but has also kept me up to date on current events. It has also given me a lifelong challenge (that I genuinely enjoy) and can be profitable, literally. All things considered, forex is one of the best things to happen in my life. I think some of us here can agree on that and say Forex traders are a fraternity of their own.

at 3632/33 respected i will consider it.. but not until. but if it is ill look for those other numbers... 81/95... void where prohibited

More than likely price static due to low volume, but ATM on 5min TF looks like something of a sloppy descending triangle is forming, could be a good scapling opportunity.

On a seperate note I'm long from ~3613 and expecting some kind of pull back before seeing new lows. Also looks like US equities may have to come down some tomorrow as well and I don't anticipate seeing the same $$/equitiy correlation we saw today occur tomorrow. All my positions will have tight SLs and I'll be willing to change my tune if the data suggests I ought.

Gator, very true on old $$/equity correlation, but when it last flipped I don't recall it happening in one session, maybe my brain has melted from all the charts though.

I find it very interesting question of the trial biased ...
studying it days ago, I noticed how today's society tends to bias the trial. so is the biased positions we take in the negotiations conducted in the forex.
but it is very very interesting to see how it happens here in FF ...
