I am aware of three successful trailing stops. Two of them are based on price action and so it is easy to calculate the stop point manually with very little effort. The third one is based on the ATR and it not easy to caculate hand. Looking at the settings, I think this is may be the same method. I have been looking for indicator to do this for a few years and I think this may be it (I would need to review the code to know). Anyway, I think it is, and so I am VERY, VERY HAPPY!!!

Sure no probs. I wait until there is a CLOSE above/below before exiting my trades. Mans that I am abe to cut losses short on false breakouts

Zuke i have popped the indicator on my charts asa little trial and it is pretty good, i was using auto trail stop with my broker IG Index UK but this was in increments of 10 pips and not very effective> thanks again for posting the indicator
1 quick question to you use the default settings ??or have u experimented with other inputs

Yes shame today - good results yesterday though.
I think today is where a bit of flexibility should of come into play really - buy hey it's a mechanical strategy, so just got to keep trading it like it is.
