Scouting for possible EU short trade. H4 show sequence of lower H/Ls and a possible Bear channel. Waiting to see which way PA breaks the cage holding the Dragon.

PA In Lower TFs Such As M15, May Act (Less Reliable Than Higher TF Though) But The Thing Is Target May Be Very Tight. For Example After The BreakOut, It May Reverse After 5 Or 10 Pips. It's Good For Scalpers, Not Us, IMO.

Anyway, I'm Looking For a Wave In GU To Make a Short Entry. Nice Volume At The High (Like Yesterday). I'll Post The Chart If I See The Wave Forming.

Rastaman, of the pairs, this has has smallest range and lowest volatility. And between H4 and M15 it looks very "undecided" at this time. If the rest drop, you'd think this would too, but it is holding higher in it's range than are the others. Conclusion: wait for direction.

This is based off of the H4 double High Higher close and the wave on H4. target is around EDIT: 90.80

I Can Bring Some Reasons, Such As "Big Guns Moved The Price Higher For Bigger Sellings" Or "Price OverSelled And Liquidity Became For Buyers" Or "Seller Took Their Profit Off The Table And Buyers Came In" Or Etc. ... But Does It Really Matter ? Does It Matter Why Price Moved Like That ?

Price Moved Like That a Thousand Times, Even If Some Experienced Trader Told You The "Reason", Even If That's Right (Though I Have Doubt In It - Evey Theory Is Just an Assumption) Does That Help You To Predict The Future ?

Leave The Past To The Past And Analyze The Price For The Next Move. Don't Waste Your Energy On "Why"s, Use Your Energy On "What Next"s ...

Move SL to BE+ it is now a reasonably safe free trade.

EU Short Trade Setup:

Should price break south, this is my setup for the trade. SL would be moved to BE+ a few pips profit ASAP, and then adjusted downward as price movement allows.

Edit: Price just iniitiated entry into short trade. I have moved TP1 up to DP area, but will monitor if price gets there. There is always the possiblility of a stab down (maybe to DP) followed by a quick pullup until the US open. For that reason, having TP1 at the DP may make more sense than the first lower placement....PA may not go that low before US open. But, one cannot know what the market will do, so I will monitor TP1 placement if PA reaches there. In other words, I may or may not take 1/3 off if PA reaches TP1. It will depend on how strong the PA downward move looks at the time.

What do you make of this EDIT: MARUBOZU (Bald Monk) candle, NO wick whatsoever!

Can't remember if this is a reversal candle or continuation?

And it is a highly bearish candle.

I don't know, Rastaman. You are more the knowledgeable one on individual candles than I. Just remember ddaytrader's remarks that SonicR is about composite price movement (waves), and not about individual candles.

It is not as I thought a HARAMI it is a MARUBOZU BALD MONK and a negative one is a very bearish sign.


Yes, you are right T, I have to get these candles out of my head on M15.

Still, that is a pretty unusual candle, that is what got my attention.
