heavy resistance @3805. 4 hour chart----favors upside to 3910 +.

This is a nice post in terms of describing the optimal mindset the optimal trader should have once making the trade. Best point made is to let go of the preconceived expectations of a trade, but be proactive in initiating and managing a trade.

Part of my plan is being able to change my plan. But like the intial entry and exit plan, any changes have to have as much good of a reason for it.

The first time I heard a old great trader say those words I had the same reaction as you. It's not at all meant to be personal. As you say no one likes to see anyone ripped off or even loose a lot.
But it's true Forex is a zero sum game. For every winner there is a loser.
If we were all great traders then there would be no trading.

The very reason why this market is so lucrative for us is because of the losers which we all are at some point.
Thanks for your comment in no way did I mean to take the word exploit to a personal level.

Which number are you referring to that may stop this Bull run?

3823? I was looking for this 3795 area to hold. To me this was one big move on LOW volume that took out stops and is trying to fake out a BULL run...Nothing has changed.....we couldn;t even get a small bull run last week or prior.....

I can;t imagine this being an actual Bull takeover....

Thoughts on where you think this might stop? Or an area it can defeat to put Bears back in charge?

Okay, looks like a few speed bumps ahead. This is what I got right now as far as technicals:

Resistances: 3770 (mid-resistance level) - minor
3779 (historical resistance + 89 sma h4) - wildcard
3788 (trendline) - this one might be good for 10+ pips if h4 sma doesn't hold it up.
3800 (psychi level + 100% fib) - wildcard
3817 (trendline) - might be good for 10+ also

waiting for the sun to come out. monday u.s banking/gov. holiday only. u.s. imports more then it exports. tuesday double day of commerce sent to importers banks. more demand for imports currency on (2 days worth) tuesday weakens usd. china took a week off.... dabia greece. yada yade... charts pryer to piigs... if not tomorrow. next week... its comming.. just building until. and stocking tuna and crackers

this one is not that precise.. but there are a few tl and other fibs to stop 3824.. im building little ones on the way up.. and more on the way down.. i want ca above 3754 if possible.. waiting to see what the brits do.. i will enter more on the way down

Going back to Aug '07 138.50 took a little work to break and since then has been pivotal- both resistive and supportive. That's my best guess that I am working with, 138.50. Worth holding longs a bit more to she if she charges that level I think.

That is nice and good job, but I have to ask (with no offense)... Why do you post this? I'm just curious why. I for the life of me cannot figure it out. Should I take partial pips too and hold others?
