i can't explain, for i am not using it. considering the underlying concept to grow into my trading plan. have to thing about commissions though. a sl/tp doesn't cost the spread charged, but an order will, so sl/tp has to be adjusted.

just thinking about it...

What you mean? You don't know how EA's working in general? Or you don't get it how

"Hidden" SL/TP working?

Instead of Placing real SL/TP EA just looking at your Entry price

and depends on the settings will close your Trade either

at Loss or Profit + it's also have Trailing Stop capability..

Let's say you have TP set at 100 pips And Trailing Stop 20 pips

Trailing step = 5

means when your trade moves over 20 pips in profit

EA will move Stop Loss 20 pips below the Current price and then every 5 pips

up will also move Trailing Stop Loss Until either Actual Take profit 100 pips

reached or Trailing stop taking off on the way down.

yea...! Actually I thought you have to move sl manually up or down I did not know that it can be done automatically...! that`s cool...!
But can you explain me how that hidden thing work...?

I already did, "Hidden" only because when you place your order, EA

doesn't place real TP of SL, instead EA just tracking the the Price of the

Pair and when Price gets to TP or SL it will just close your trade, so

Broker will never see your SL or TP area, because those were never Entered.

It's like you manually sit and watch the trade with (0.00 SL and 0.00 TP)

and just close it at either LOSS or Profit manually, that's it.

Hi smokemachine,

If I am correct the SL is hidden meaning you set your EA for the SL but it does not show on the chart.
Could be of some help with the "stop hunters"

oh, that's the idea... bad idea! if the process of mt4 crashes, you're seriously busted... and we're talking windows here, keep that in mind.

Reverse to long, open from early 1.36s.

Do not see any move back down if/until a move back below 1.37.

Still see the longterm down trend line at/around late 1.38s. So we might see a teeter-totter action until a move above 1.39.

Hello Mr. Hatch,

If you use EAs you must use a good VPS service.
The one I use allows live migration to another server if trouble comes with no downtime loss.

Ok, but the Trailing STOP is real.. Anyways I never have MT4 crashing

problems Server is running 24/7/365 non-stop.

And for you, guys, who just want simple SL/TP you can use this EA..

Enter stop loss/take profit. Just place trade and EA will then edit

SL/TP according to the settings. Simple one.

Normally retrace happens after some time, 50% or the whole move.

But after this kind of big move, i do not expect that pretty soon, but i am quite sure that 1.3735 will be played which means that usd/chf goes to check 1.0700, probably Asia fill fix that.
They think they are smarter than I am.
