Too early in the day for me but, are we going to see something like this wave form on EU. Just thinking out loud.

I am thinking that EJ M15 may start to be moving in the direction of the long term trend, DOWN.

Any thoughts on this Sonic, TAH & Basber?



EDIT: Hmmm, This looks like it could go either way right now, but this could also be the pump before the dump.

I Meant If Price Reaches a Solid Support Or Resistance, It May Reverse And Hit Your StopLoss. So Breaking Even Will Be a Good Idea In These Situations. Breaking Even Means Bringing Your StopLoss At Your Entry Point, So If It Reverses, You'll Not Loose Any Money. You Can Save Your Capital By This Way.

Anyway, Price Didn't Reached That Level.

GU:

PA is sporting a nice WAVE now. Attached pic is for potential short trade. I set EP below Daily Pivot, but a bit higher might be ok. TP1 is within an average range move, minus a little bit. TP2 is fjust beyond an average range move. Should the trade start, consider adjusting TPs as you see how price moves, because a strong move could encompass the FE 262% level and even S3.

I am already in this, and would not be surprised to see this move down thru the week. But that is speculation. Trade only what you see.

I am just going to watch this one as I did not spot it myself.

Looks good as price seems to be below the retrace of the 38.2 on the weekly and shying away from it.

Seems to be a possible trouble area at 1.5523 but that is over 170 pips away.

Here she goes? Just before US open they pull the rug? Will be interesting to see if the US open results in another pump, or will those traders say, "Aw, hell! Let's get on with the dump!"

OK but this what I observed....

GU wanted to go long. EU wanted to go short.

Which way did they go?

I would say, the weaker currency is the EU at this point in the market???

You may be right on the ultimate direction of the GU, but the market could correct much higher from here before it moves in your favor. I hope that that is not the case and that you can get out of your position with little damage, and perhaps with a profit. But this type of trading behavior will blow you out of the game eventually.

Below is a Picture of one of the most successful traders of all time - Paul Tudor Jones. He keeps a handwritten note hanging by his computer that says "Losers average losers." He does this to remind himself and his employees that when a postion moves against you, the right thing to do is to Get Out of the position, and not to add to a losing position! I actually printed this picture out years ago when I started trading, and I have it pinned to the wall in my office. If it is good enough for a billionaire trader like Jones, its good enough for a little guy like me!

Averaging up when short or averaging down when long is tempting. We start to think that the market just has to move our way, even if just a little bit, and by adding to the loser we might have a chance to get out at break even. Of course, the market doesn't have to do any such thing! Even an experienced trader who has earned Billions trading the markets, like Paul Tudor Jones, needs to remind himself not to do it. And if it is a good rule for him, it can only be a good rule for us.
