Hey all,

I am working my way through babypips and try to get through this thread too.

I am about 100 replies into this thread so, just another 31544 to go ........

Can I please ask if there are things in babypips that are very specific to this thread that I should be paying perhaps more attention to than anything else..... though obviously, not at the remitance of anything else.

Babypip covers a wide range of things and I just wanted to know if any part of that is utilised in this thread moreso than anything else.

Welcome. I would say def read it al,l as all the knowledge will help you with this method but pay close attention to anything related to charts ie. candlestick patterns, formations, support and resistance.. Also of course anything to do with money management will be an asset. Then once you have read everything, read the 2 pdf's on the first post, using babypips as a resource if you don't understand something.

Then you should be on your way ready to start trading a demo account. I personally would recommend trading a live account using the smallest lot possible instead of demo. 2 reasons: One, you will get to test your brokers live environment as sometimes it is different than the demo, and two, because I feel trading play money won't give you the same training as real money - real money you are more likely to trade how you will when trading bigger lots, where as demo there is a chance that people will just trade without regard as it does not matter if anything is lost. Thats just personal and there will be a lot of people who will disagree with that. You're call.

I would agree with that, it all goes back to "Nothing lost nothing gained".Do not do this unless you are able and can afford to lose the money though. Start with a $250 account and see what happens. If you can not afford to loose the money then open a demo but do not play with real money until you double your demo account.

Yes that's a descending triangle. A bearish pattern.

EO, after my last post I came across a trade at about 8:00pm EST. I was able to grab some pips from the trade but was late to the party. What would you have seen in this instance in terms of a confirmation signal to go long?

Even my lady likes them but she prefers choccolate

i am still waiting for some good entry.. but after yesterday's emptiness and all the macro that are coming out today.. i am not sure what to do. GBPUSD is doing some nice 5 o' clock.. but there is some major resistence area at 1.5740-60, so still not sure what to do.
