And how did you come to this conclusion. It is a simple thing of trading Daily Pin bars with 2% risk. HOW IS THAT HIGHLY RISKY.

I have seen much worse, threads that have 5-10% risk and aim for indicator crosses on 5 min charts. I mean come on, I have been doing much the same thing (daily PA) for over a year now and I have made far greater progress than I have in the previous 5.

I am currently making a living off a account of about that size and have been for over 3 months now. Can I substain it time will tell . I am also growing the equity in the account as well. In my expreience the key to achieve what you are wanting to do is to find a system that allows you to enter your trades with a minium Stop.

If you can keep your stops around 20 pips and risk 2% of a account $1.00 for every $1,000.00 you can increase your account by 20% with only a 40 pip gain per day. You will not compound this like everyone loves to show as it is a lot different to open a trade and be down a few dollars verses a few thousand or more.

But with patience and proper Money and trade managemnet it can be achieved. Of course the number one point that always gets pushed aside is that you have lots of learning to do.

Don't rule out your emotions that is the one spot I never would have figured was a issue for me but was the worst. You have to control everything related to trading.

But it is Sunday evening markets been open 2 hrs. and I have just closed my first 2% 20 pip trade and have 22 hrs left in this trading day.

Like anything in life the possiblities are there it is those willing to do what it takes to get there that will achieve them. Hope your one.

But until you KNOW you have aquired that edge and can actually work it the way it has to be worked . Risk very little or demo. Because if you blow all your starting capital THINKING you have it you might find yourself in the ranks of I almost made it.

Go and visit the J16 website before making claims. There is plenty there for guest and in the end it is not that much to pony up to get a great deal of support. Most courses these days cost in excess of $1500, some a lot more, and they only offer the initial training then you go off thinking you know it all. At least Jim and his team give constant feedback, show you how to take some great setups and there approach is some of the simpliest, easy to understand ways I have seen.

Visit the guest material and watch it. Chances are you will be impressed.

if you have learn anything from them can you show us some thing that we cant find them for free.
learn to help others,stop selling others system then everyone will respect you including me

Good question with the initial amount required to make $1500.00

My opinion is, it depends on experience, if you have none a Million $$$ will not be enough.

Once you start gaining some experience you will be able to judge for yourself.

$50K is a good number and will allow you to take small risk.
After you're in this market full time for 3-4 years you can likely do it with $25K

For the record I am in no way affiliated with a group or product and I do not need to sell anything. My vouchers have come from the time I have put in through threads and my journal. Let me restate I do not need to sell anything. I have a small group that I share my thoughts with and there is no outlook in my mind to go and offer something that requires payment. I do however believe that for some people there is a need to sell there product. Just because they do doesnt mean anything other than there time is of value.

If there was a trader, lets say Jim, who had a setup by where his website offered the tools and the ongoing support for new traders and old would you not think it ok to charge as small fee. IN the end if there wasnt the small fee then

1) there would be too many people to take care of asking stupid question because they lack the simple mentality to read (most of them are here)
2) there wouldnt be enough time for him to keep updating resources to help those.

The cost of time is natural. If you are good at your job then you get paid for it. Could you imagine going to work for 8 hours a day and not getting paid for it...

So to close, loose the tone. I never told you or anyone that upon visiting the website, after reviewing the material that you should join. It is an option that in my mind would save you alot of money in the long run. I have for as long as I can remember now offered my services. The small team that I work alongside can attest to that. Perhaps you need to take a chill pill and realise that this is a business and for most as much as they try they still bleed money so there are some great people out there who either help voluntarily or charge as small commission

If you could find 1 post in which i advised someone to join J16 private group. I will never post on FF again. That's my word.

I never joined James16 private group, I learned everything from the public thread here at FF, and i believe anyone could learn from public thread cause it contains all the basic and advanced stuff.

Since you have joined FF last month only, you have no idea who the Razor trader is. He is a successful long time frame trader who is helping other traders to learn the 'real trading' through his journals, threads and other posts.

If you want to learn real trading, go and read Razor Trader journal.

Be careful not to defame popular and senior traders like Razor Trader and nasir khan.

You are a great trader helping other traders as well. 10 + vouchers which you have earned within few months at FF speaks for you in high esteem.

The guy who is defaming senior and popular traders at FF is a new joinee (joined in jan 2010) and has no idea what he is upto.

Its good that people are warning the poster about wanting to jump straight in and make immediate profits with only a little practise, but the above statement isn't true. There are quite a few traders that make that much per week consistently, so to put immediately in somebodys mind that it can't be done isn't healthy either. It can be done but it takes commitment and work.

If I started with $1,000, and made 30% weekly, compounding at the end of each week, I'd have about $840 million in the account after 12 months.

Of course that's unworkable, as one would likely run into slippage problems long before then, but I'm just trying to put the extraordinary claim into some kind of understandable perspective.

Yes of course, and I'm not saying someone would compound it all, but the poster asked if it was possible to earn a living from it, and if you have $1,000 account and earn 30% consistently weekly and take it out and live on it, you would still have $1,000 in the account but would be earning a wage.

I don't like compounding this way.

You could do 500% to 1000% on a 100$ account in a month easily.

But when you'll reach 2000$-3000$ you simply won't be able to risk your money like you did on 100$.

Simply saying "as the Account Size will increase ROI will decrease".

I am greatful and humbled to have some kind people give me support. If it something that seems to be on the increase in these forums its the flamers. I have only been here for a small time but have noticed the drop off in regular posts from some really generous people. While you still have to sift through some BS I am 100% sure that there are all the answers that 1 will ever need here, and they are free.
