I was more referring to an entry in the 121.4x area or down the 1hr wick in the 121.7x area. I unfortunately was in bed but I did get the short off the 1hr 62 earlier. Made some nice pips while !

Hi everyone,

I'm still here..... just sitting in the background awaiting my grading from 'babypips' (great site).

May I ask a question, though I warn it may be a little (ahhem) novice.

I see that many people refer to the 35/50 which I gather are the Moving Average lines. Can I ask why these are so important (if they actualy are)?

Yesterday I mentioned how the 1hr 200 on the Euro twins was very kind to me, did anyone take the Mrs trade besides me during E/L this morning off of the 1hr 200?

No one took that trade? WTF!!!!

Even if you didn't enter right off the 200 it still formed a DBHLC on the 15 min chart which formed the wick on the 1hr chart. You had a second chance half way up the 1hr wick.

Yes I took a long on EJ at 121.95 based on the 1hr support for some nice pippage and a long on GU from 5585 for the same reason but I missed EU.

All of these trades this morning I was in and had taken profit and covered before the news announcements except the EJ short which I took the candle after the news announcement. There are only a few posted news announcements that I am more weary of and that would be Rate announcements and of course NFP.

I suck at posting charts so I will have to briefly explain it.

On GU we had support from yesterday on the 1hr chart at a low close of 5580. This morning we had a DBLHC on the 15 min chart with a low of 5584. I took an aggressive trade based on this support. You could have waited for proper PA on the 15 min chart and taken the trade after the 15 min hammer. I typically don't use much more than a 15-20 pip stop but on this trade if you took it when I did your stop would have been below the 1hr wick at 5560. If you took the trade after the 15 min hammer then your stop would be below the hammers wick.

Similar trade on EJ with this mornings 1hr close was 121.93.
