Feb. 11 (Bloomberg) -- European leaders reached an agreement to deal with Greece’s debt crisis and said they will hold the country to strict budget rules.
“There is an accord,” European Commission President Jose Barroso told reporters after the leaders of Greece, France and Germany met in Brussels. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said: “Greece won’t be left alone but there are rules and these rules must be adhered to. On this basis we will agree on a statement.”
No details were released as the leaders hustled into a summit of the entire 27-nation EU. Plans by Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou to cut the EU’s highest budget deficit have triggered street protests.
The summit, which was delayed because of snow, was originally slated to last about six hours and end at 4:30 p.m.
The euro erased declines and Greek bonds rose after Barroso announced the agreement. The euro, which fell as low as $1.3714 today, traded at $1.3739 at 12:59 p.m. in Brussels. The yield on the Greek two-year government bond dropped 54 basis points to 4.915 percent.

I think that euro will boost if rest of EU inject money (lend) to Greece... but this is not the case... Greece government must modify their politics about economy (saving everything as they can)... and this under the supervision of EU...

so US Unemployment new to wait and see how the market reacts...

parity in the euro area improvement can be seen in the 142. 142 not out on bear market. if it rises above 142. permanently to the circuit enters the bulls.

well i just broke even on the day. freaky pa looks nice in the rearview but its not easy to wrassle for the tight-stop scalper. Ima watch the unemployment news come out and will count my blessings if i can stay even.

let the number be big very big and the market dive the charts on stocks tell it this will happen and my pants are already full. hahhaha just joking but I still think the number will be bigger then expected. In 30 min I will know if my charts lied or not, either way after the numbers I will get myself a drink....

It'll be interesting if price can continue to narrow into the wedge. Might get a decent break. Thoughts?

Nice round top & price bounce from tl , my long placed before are negative but intact & now pending over the tl for next up perhaps , to be big enough , not know what news sides telling though.

No direct aid for greece, that means nothing but sympathy.
EU can't say "go away greece! we can't help you" because greece begging money.
