missed the news spike, too fast for postplay. scalping in the aftermath, north only, upside breakout more likely. 8 pip range wavescalps, though, really, I might find better things to do. +10 pips is good enough for Tokyo & I will come back for the Chinese news.

It's sitting on the 38.2% from the 9320-8570 move... That should stop it. If not then it's going to go higher over the next day or so.

I think Tokyo is on holiday today dude......that's the reason that I'm not going to add a short here....as much as I'm tempted to!!

It's on a major fib level... It shouldn't go any higher for now, people can put a fairly tight SL and play the fade because of that Major Fib.

Absolutely! Running around with a thick layer of bengay on right now...

After the TA is done, sometimes I will back out of a trade I just don't feel right about. This is a scalp for me that *might* turn out a bigger return. Keep the SL tight though.

If AUD/USD goes up it means usd weakens, so eur also goes up ad the same with all currencies...! You have to find those connections. if gold goes up usd goes down...! good luck with your trades man..., I am really out of my dish this week, it is kind of difficult to trade when there is so much fundamental action...!

Hello USD is not weak. AUD just got monstrous good data thats why the spike...which pushed gold up and thats why u see E/U go up, if you look at other charts E/A and G/A they both had lot bigger spikes than A/U.

why not put a short in before your nap you might wake up to another 80 pips!

I can understand about gut feelings. I try not to let them get in the way of what I see on my charts or how I make my trades though. They used to get me in trouble, now I leave my gut feelings to less important/subjective things, people for instance. hehe.

hey i'm back in the game - really sorry if I offended anyone by talking about the blog - it was genuine and meant to point to a source of free help. Anyway back in the game and still holding my long position from Friday on the EUR/USD from the evening lows on Friday.

Had an interesting day watching a live trading room wondering why on earth some traders were taking positions right in the middle of ranges and really putting themselves under a lot of pressure just to break even.

Just shows that the experienced pro's still make fundamental errors of judgement.

because you should see some strong downward pressure coming now.
I could be wrong this is a high trading range for the aud/usd
