I took today 350 pips this month about 900 pips and i dont have any trade right now,closed all my positions before 6h.My advice for you guys,I started to make a lot of pips every month,every week when I learned one thing,there is no "trend",you will always have 2 trend in same time.I started to learn good pips every month,every week when i undestud that,also discipline is very very important and SL...MM,RRR,SL,Discipline= Forex

Yeah, we're on the same page....pullbacks which are counter to the primary movement, depending upon which timeframe you are consulting.

I have debate your Longer-term trend. My view is 1.52 was a re-test of the Monthly TL. So still, in my view , still 1 trend. I'm not going to discuss why I think the USD index is in bullish trend either, but if you want think 2 trends, then ok. Maybe you're right, we'll know in 2-3 months.

As a novice, with many fewer pips to my name than you i'm confused by this. All the stuff i've been learning has pointed to identifying if the market is trending or not, on a larger timescale and then zooming in to see what's occurring at smaller times.

Are you saying that's not right then? That there is no 'trend'?

the EURO may be waiting on more confirmation of the Greece rumor. Nikkei is up over 100 pts in early trading and dow and s&p futures are all up right now, which would typically clearly point to dollar weaknes, and the EUR-USD is ranging along with AUD and NZD. another shoe may need to drop for this thing to push up again...

Will see what Bernanke has to say tomorrow - it will probably determine if todays movement was a simple pullback or start of an uptrend.

I'd rather take no trades on EUR/USD till tomorrow.

IMHO this is it. The pull back is now completed (based on history). I expect a drop to test the lows. Look at the reaction once the lowest point is reached.

I beg to differ Sir, even though I am a frequent viewer of your blog. A forum is a place where everybody gather and exchange ideas and discussions and at the same time, gain more knowledge. A forum is extremely useful to newbies like me where much knowledge can be obtained from Senior members who had gained much experience thru the years. This is a valuable knowledge which cannot be obtained from textbooks.

Your goodself has been a newbie before, hence I hope that you can continue to contribute to the society by posting your exciting discoveries.

if you shorted at 3801 .. your sl is limited and r/r is great. a baby bear move was/will complete at 3767. so it may provide small support. the mid number is above 3801.. its 3803... im not moving sl to be just yet. but below 67 and i will.. maybe i should do it now.. thats up too trader. risk a few pips or risk missing entry. i may not be in front pc so i risk the pips.

news may change all of this and so will a new high... this chart is still valid even if 3803 is taken out.. up to above a new high.. but if levels are respected it may still be valid.

wrong # on chart 2661 =3661
