To elaborate on my previous post here is the way I traded today. Usually I trade channels..upwards, downwards, ranging...whatever. This requires two walls..the upper wall and the lower wall of a channel. If a trend is up..its preferable to buy at the lower wall. The option to sell at the upper wall is also there but it involves more risk especially when the trend may be strong.
A day like today is not a typical day though. It is hard to establish both walls of a channel. So instead of having a channel, the best tool is a simple line to show where pa is hitting resistance in an uptrend without really breaking and inversely for a downtrend seek out when pa taps the lower wall to place a buy. Take profit is discretionary. While the Eur/Jpy was my pair of choice today...same applies to Eur/Usd. Here are 2 perfect entries based on what I just described and ironically...the news came out when both levels where reached..that upper wall and that lower wall.

got ya same here at 1.3835what fun when your on the good side I could had made a bit more on that but again broker requoted me on close..shit I think they all do that..
Actually I just made the best scalp of my life...was fully leveraged at 1.3828.
