Thanks Driver55...I actually had that as well on live charts...does this validate another drive up then on CHF in your opinion?

Gator,

I apologize but I don't understnad what you are trying to convey. Are you really referring to 4600 to 4700 numbers on EU? How does this factor into the 3714 area? Thanks...I'm trying to position for a SHort and was looking at 3740 to 3756 as a good entry...perhaps I am wrong

3644 was the mid for 3714 plus slip.. 3734 may be an overshot but should cover slippage.

Good morning/afternoon fellas.

I'm still short but got stopped out on trade from last night -40. Re-entered @3704. Another pending waiting up at 3714/45. My long on CHF also hit trailing stop some time last night. I went long again @ 0689.

This chart/fib is drawn off of the monthly bar.

Better to make a little profit then none at all or even worse a loss. Check the charts.

And then you have some that will use a decent system with a 60% or better hit rate and use a manual martingale for the loss recovery. It can be very profitable and fairly safe as long as you have the correct lot size for you balance. Personally I use the anti-martingale a lot and of course all good traders also use it. Doubling up on trades while your making your way through a nice trend is anti-martingale.

my starting strategy had me winning 4 and losing 6 for every 10 trades I took - and the strategy was set so I was still a winner at the end of each day. It took hours and hours and weeks and weeks of disciplined sim trading to set up the strategy.

I still use the same strategy with refinements I have made along the way, I am now winning 6 out of 10 and of the 4 I am counting as losers I manage them to a safe stop above my entry - so in effect my losers are still at worst covering my costs.

Dice rolling is for snakes and ladders and casinos -...
