Oh, I see what you mean. Now old boy, as I understand it if you were entering above the LV at 79 you would treat it as a 123S, and a #2 would be appropriate. BUT WE DIDN'T DO THAT....we caught a lovely runner when it was a little FCR1 in Bubsy's case and a BB in mine - simple...time to celbrate and play #1....scenario of your choice. COOLIO - I get three jelly babies so far.....

Hi Mac,
Thx again. Just to be sure I'm on the "right page": I got in at the fcr level as well and played #1 until it developed into a 123s when it broke 1.3678. Is it valid then to change from #1 to #2, unless the PA starts going funny, in which case you can let #1 take precedence over #2?

Sorry if I'm thick-headed. btw i moved my SL to 1.3685

Nah, when your FCR1 turns into a 30+ pip runner forget the entry criteria and watch the PA - you don't need to redefine the swing - you have the luxury of a big pip cushion. Defining the FCR above is only necessary for an entry strategy. So if you'd missed the ride from the beginning, seeing it as a 123S would be the right thing to do...but you can laugh at that and do a royal wave as you go by if you got on earlier...tiara, ballgown, dangly ear rings...if that's your thang....who am I to judge???

All right Ladies and Gentlemen…

My website for the family is ready.

Due to having a website of your own I cannot be active in this thread no longer due to not being just a regular member anymore. I will be known as a commercial member according to FF policy and I can only be active in my own thread in the commercial section. My friend Twee has been very informative and helpful throughout this process and I thank him. I respect all the rules of this great forum and that’s all I am going to talk about in regards to anything commercial.

So to continue our thread I have to open a new thread in the commercial section. I will put it up in about 15 min or so… look for it in the Evaluation section under the name FCR.

I will not say goodbyes since I expect to see most all of you in the fcr thread continuing as business as usual.

Thank you.

Gotcha! I'm watching PA all the time, just using the hard SL under the last fcr as a safety net. I'm waving at the crowd, but just in case the coach is moving into the other direction, I've moved my SL to 1.3694 with an order to go short at that LV as well.

Well this is my first post in this thread.(and at forex factory) I have gone through most of the thread (it has taken a while !) I have traded this way and like it's simplicity and have been successful with it.

It seems that this thread is dying somewhat, everybody seems to have gone off to a commercial thread, and a new website which I see is charging $100 a month (ouch!) I don't really need any help with the system, and I don't need any coaching. I am comfortable with it.

The system and this thread changed very much over the time it has been running. At first it was not only e/u but g/u g/j etc. I have had success with g/u. Then the thread turned into just e/u which I found limiting.

Would anybody be interested in keeping this original thread going ? and going back to the original ideas and motivation behind it ?

Found this post from Feb dated March 11, 2009. What caught my attention was the "cost of tutoring." Feb, for your great teaching and generosity I will forever be grateful. You taught me some things through this thread that came to me at a very important time in my journey as a trader. I do still use the 5 minute chart for key support and resistance areas, but I tend to prefer trading the range like ping pong or trade reversal bounces from key areas. Very few break out trades. Right or wrong, I felt because of my approach to trading it may not fit in entirely with the intent of this thread. So I chose to remain silent while applying your golden nuggets to my trading.

There are very few traders I hold in high regard, but you are definitely one of them. I had wished to learn more from you through the January class you had mentioned last November I think it was. Evidently time and/or health issues made it difficult for you, if not impossible.

I sincerely wish you the absolute best for your health, happiness and prosperity.

Coach
