I also went short on the EUR but did it at 1 hour after the London opening on Friday (4:00 AM EST). I just blew out of it a little while ago with approx 75 pips. I don't like trading while the asian market is open. Wierd things happen. I think that your anticipated stop is too tight and if there is a bounce you will be shorted out.

when equities are down, anywhere, could be asia, london, or us, that means investors are staying away from risky assets and are focusing on buying the dollar(because its viewed as safe), this affects the EUR-USD because, although its not risky, typically when the USD gets bought, it gets bought across the board, not just with risky dollar crosses like AUD-USD or NZD-USD. not to mention how asia and london fare throughout the day, typically dictate what type of day the DOW has, which largely affects the dollar.

Hi,

going long from 1.3646, SL 1.3625, TP's 1.3705 & 1.3741. If price cross 1.3682 the strategy will be confirmed because change to the upper channel bands. If trend change to 1.3647 and not back will be invalidated.

Any opinions?

Don't ask this kind of question. I guess you already in position that's why you're feeling a bit unsure since it's going up while you're short? Nobody knows what might happen to the pair in advance. Believe in your chart and learn if something going wrong. Asking around won't help you develop into better trader.

price has been trying to break 3666 now for the 3rd time if it does I believe we have a way up if it does not I think we are going down...!!!

I am staying with my chart holding short I just backed up my SL to1.3685.

.3668 is just EMA200 on M5 but it is .3740 on M15, can also be considered.

I do believe in my chart, was just trying to figure out relationship between currencies and the stock markets. Like is the Nikkei going down because the JPY is going down, or is the JPY going down because the Nikkei is down...and what that would mean for the EUR/USD.
