closed shorts before & waiting for retracements to take next.this up for d can be 1.3734-55 or more in normal condition but now can turn any time even watching 1.3710.

It seems to me NFP will be win/win for the dollar either way. If print beats, then $ benefits with the recovery story, if number misses, $ benefits due to risk aversion. Thoughts?

haha i wish things were always win/win....they said the same thing of gold at 1220

i dunno, if its worse than expected it will probably put the dollar on equal footing with the other currencies a bit and soften its climb....

better than expected and the dollar should strengthen i guess.... seems to me like the currency market is saying the fed should be a little more "easy" than they are currently implying

My guess is that they don't want it to travel too high if NFP-data isn't good, for there seems to be very high demand for a strong USD right now. Just a guess though... let me know if complete nonsense.

That depends upon the market , there is a bear continuation setup below 1.3708 & better let it test this level or break further or go much up to test short again or go below 1.3670.Just my idea.and if consider gold as a signal it is always a signal from any top now.
