There's no doubt that oil is overspeculated and over valued!

There's plenty to go around well beyond the life of this planet. Our govt's and media want us to live in fear of it though.

that's part of the whole "al gore green earth" thing and the war in iraq. Iraq has the largest natural gas supply in the world in it's soil and the second largest oil supply (or the other way around).

the US getting it would REALLY ruin AG's day....oh and of course the polar caps would melt and the bears would die and the bees would no longer produce anything!....sorrry....so sorry...somebody take this soap box away please!

Hey Dak! Always another trade! Don't you have 2 accounts yet? If not, go set one up. That way you can cover one and go the opposite in another. Even if I'm good on one position long and up nicely, it doesn't prevent me from jumping in front of her at key S/R to grab some nice pipperonis.

i'm still building this account to something respectable. i will be doing a second account ASAP though. FXCM has had many technical issues that i want to be away from when a good trade opens.

OH...BTW. Not sure who knows or who cares, BUT, FXCM has a UK division that is not affected by the FIFO rules OR the new proposed 1:10 leverage.

Sure.

I actually use two separate charts. The one that I have posted here I use a 24 SMA, a 34SMA, a 89 Smoothed, a 144 EMA and a 169 EMA.

The 144 EMA and 169 EMA act as the tunnel. prices like to pivot around it, bounce off it, etc. The 34 and 24 SMA work as the shorter trends. I like to see the 24 and 34 cross for continued trends and I to use them as entry points as well when they line up by fib lines.

The 89 smoothed is also a trend signal. Above the tunnel, down trend. Below the tunnel, up trend.

I do work mostly off price action, fibs and candlestick patterns but the MA's are extra confidence builders to enter/stay in a trade.

I trade by the rule:

All methods will work SOME of the time
Some methods will work MOST of the time
NO methods will work ALL of the time

Thus It is good to have more than one method in place.

Thank you for sharing! I love my ma's and will probably find yours just as useful.

If you don't have a 200sma on all of your charts, I would recommend it. Obviously I recommend all of my ma's, but some people see the charts as spaghetti at that point.

I used to use the 200sma but took it off a long time ago for some reason I don't remember. I just put it back on and I see how it does fit in again, so I will leave it. Here is my other MA chart, compression chart.
