Good choice. Considering the problems in Haiti it might be a little difficult to sell the concept of the 4 F's.

Been reading over this thread. I like the concepts so far.

I had to jump in here.........The DOW to 6700-6000-5500 won't take 6 months this time. I think it will be marked in weeks.

There's a bloodbath coming. I've been out of all equities for 2 months waiting for what is coming our way.

FX markets will be on a wild ride.

i would think weeks might be far fetched but there is always the possibility. i've been projecting AT LEAST a dbl bottom in stocks since the very beginnings of the "first recovery". (what a load of crap the media fed the population on that).

I have warned many of my friends and family to watch out carefully. Of course i hope im wrong, but there are too many signs pointing that we are in for a world of hurt here in the US as well as abroad. Especially now with the new and improved deficit. Which is really funny to me since i called my credit cards today asking for a reduction in my APR (which is out of control). I haven't missed a payment in 10 years and never late. My business is taking a bath and i need some "easing up" on my APR to help make it easier. They said NO straight out of the gate. But what does our government get? MORE FREAKIN MONEY!!!! I'm going broke and they are getting rich. Godlman get a cool BILL to fund their own debacle and then give out 100 MILL in bonuses? When the people here wake up from their slumber they will be sorry they slept.

I'm not privy to the US media - however I am amazed at how manipulative the media is here in Oz - recent example - you see news adverts saying "Are we set for another property boom? - watch tonight and find out". So you watch, and the article is about 'experts' proclaiming it is going to stall etc.

When the GFC started, the media fed the fear, so it is not unfeasible to believe that they have been feeding the greed as well.

Well, truth be know, I do have a lower number, but I was afraid too many people would say I've lost it.

So, here it goes. The DOW could see 68. Your reading this correct, I said double digit 68.

Will it? I hope not! If so, there is nothing anyone will be able to do to restart the US economy.

BTW, last time when we were pushing into 14000 and I told people we were headed for 6800, they thought I was off my rocker, so it's nothing new. Same with my oil puchase in the 30's targeting 75. I atleast acted on the oil position. I didn't short the DOW unfortunatley !

I'm off my soap box now.

I said in 2008 that Oil would be under $100 last year, and some thought I was bonkers, and I still think that oil is still overspeculated, there is so much of the stuff left in the ground, and I'm pretty sure that by the time it does eventually run out we will have plenty of alternatives.
