at my oanda platform, almost timeframe the trend is allready start to cross the kumo at down direction(but still inside the cloud zone), i dont know either this will continue to move down until the trend is below the kumo or not, but even if the trend is under the kumo, for me the fundamental is still an up trend for USD/JPY the gov is making a statement and the USD economic start to make a progres with the projected higher payrol, but this still a volatile analysis. so still wait and see until this friday, and more time to wait and see if the fundamental still not showing any big news.

just ichimoku and RSI, the rest i allways watch the news. so i can predict for long term trade, so i dont have to watch the trend every minute and get stressed out.

it could go down to 90 or 89.20 maybe

Yup. Definitely looking to buy at 90.14 today and take it to 90.97

The USD/JPY remains nearly 30pips lower on the day after moving 60% of its daily ATR, and we may see the pair close the gap from the 240-SMA at 90.14, as price action continues holds within the downward trenching channel from the January high (93.79). However, as the 30-minute RSI approaches oversold territory, we may see price action hold along the 120-SMA at 90.45, but a sharp reversal could lead the pair to test the 20-Day SMA (90.97) going into the Asian trade.

you think it will go any further than this 90.10 ? JPY is weak !
I think it came down to get some buyers and i am hoping some USD news today will take it above 91.00

i would say it this way,if the last 4h had closed below 90.20
then i would have gone for 89.00
but there was good buyers at 90.10
ok ,im out for now

Yes i did. I had 3 long positions from there and i have to admit its my biggest profitable day in Forex but i closed my trades at 90.95 even though it went a little more higher.

Todays strategy : It could retrace back a bit to the 120-SMA at 90.54. and then bounce back up. Next target is 91.90 and i am hoping it will reach friday with the NFP news if its good news for US.

way to go man...ive been trading other pairs lately...looks like i missed a nice long breakout on this pair lastnite...oh well

new resistance is at 92.68. It has to be broken for there to be an uptrend.

This is on the daily BTW.

lets see what comes first
a rise to 91.50-80
or a pullback to 90.20-00

anyway yesterday US economic news for "ADP Non-Farm Employment Change" good even if the "ISM Manufacturing Index if reporting a bad number. 60 pips for me right now, but still targeting for more pips. just wait for today US " unemployment Claims"
