Skyzerfx did you say the DOW is falling. When the Nikkei dropped recently a lot of money went into the Yen to buy at a low price causing the Yen to get very strong and send the Euro skydiving.

Wonder if the same effect will happen with the Euro/dollar?

Mindyou the Nikkei did drop fast by a significant amount...265

Well well, back into the channel and the bottom of it.

Break out soon upside under declining RSI trendline...possible TP at ~1.3965 and 1.3980.
They think they are smarter than I am.

just realized daily pp is 3940... its gonna bounce between 3948 and 3940 before we find out whats going to happen =/

SO are you saying if 3938 breaks; then we might be seeing 3878?

I was hoping for a retrace back to 4025 to short and get a better entry....may not happen......

Learning question for you....3938 is the high of two days before. Wich is the logic in price respecting this "old" resistance level will lead price to a "lower area" (3878)?

Yeah... it is also the 23-fib of the low since the last major bear flag. Nice confluence adding more weight to the level. If it does hold, we might get a big inverted H&S on the hourly. Not saying it will as I expect more down myself. But if it holds and we move above the recent high, I would probably switch to bull mode for a good while.

Will post chart soon if it holds. If it doesnt, then forget about what I just said.

Movement will be very corrective and have quite a few 61.8 retracements within the sub-waves on the lower time frame contained within the blue lines. To go outside the boundaries of the blue lines is not easy at the moment, so dont expect a strong break of the 3850 low yet. Sell at the upper blue line, and either exit half way between the 2 blue lines or at the lower blue line. So far we are going down, but motion must adhere to the trendlines shown. Another touch to the 4000 level is quite possible.

[14:30 EUR/USD: Initial Foray Sub-1.3950 Struggling] London, February 3. The initial EUR/USD foray below 1.3950 has struggled, despite spot trading to a 1.3938 low. Further weakness remains the prognosis following the intraday failure in the 1.40s but the 1.3965 expiry could gravitate the market in the short-term, with more maturities down at 1.3900. Bids are seen trailing to the figure to stall the descent, with option barriers at 1.3850 and 1.3800 still key to the downside. [email protected]

until the strong macd divergence on the 4hr is fully resolved I don't how the downside can resume in earnest..
