"EURO has record NET short positions." I which they all burn soon.
It will go from one generation to the next (of people, of leaders) and politician will still milk the system until there is a record collapse that will leave all recession in the dust and lost... I hope US leaders realize this and do something about this, cut all the gov't spending and bullshit project that don't give anything back. All we people can do is HOPE.

i love this debate about governments, deficits, and doomsday scenarios. The fact is, the government is made up of people, just like u and me. The US never asked China for money, we sell the treasury bills which is quite profitable and allows the US to invest in what we want, regardless of profit. Worse case scenario? The US asks for forgiveness of debt, in which nobody can really do much, cause "hey, if u can't afford to invest, you shouldn't have invested in the first place' Besides, we still own the internet.
