as far as dollar is concerned.... fed interest rate is close to 0.
if they go negetive then i would have to agree with you: further decline of dollar. euro, nice chanel. euro shorts maybe going against the trend, but can't complain +1000 pips of recent gain so far. good luck with your trade.

I am just trying to help you . The usd is going to do a short squeeze and look at US markets. All earnings are good but the up moves on good earnings are being sold into. Does this not concern you ?

I agree 100% on fundies , however remember investing and trading is all about perception. When it was all over the telly that gold was going to 1500 by end 2010 do you think everyone was buying ? of course they were as they perceived gold was going to 1500 , thoise that bought at 1200 are nowi n a buy and hold pattern with what could be 20% loss on account by the time gold hits 950. I am sure my client would like me to make them the 20% gold short on the reatrce and buy at 950 / 900 for the move up

Calirfornia is not all over the news , and it has been broke for a while .. hence the dollar index heading down to 73 , now euro is on the news that it is toast . and the charts for now back this up. The perception is that euro is toast. and money is moving back from euro currency accounts to USD accounts.

Not really, as they can extend that TOP allowed Debt number on Demand (while enjoying "Reserve currency" status),

that's what they've been doing successfully last few years.

When ever Administration ask for more they are popping that number up and

that's all.

Basically EUR can do the same and say OK, now the numbers should be 15%

yearly or 100% of GDP total, or they can stick with restrictions they have

and then create additional 2 trillion EURO debt now.. We'll see what they going to choose.

What that means all together:

EURO zone needs about 2 trillion, USA needs billions on Monthly basis to

finance already existing DEBT. Now the question #1.. Who the Heck going to

buy this sh*t load of Debt??? Chinese tightening spending right now, Who

else can? I don't think anybody can, really.. So they going to buy all this

Debt by themselves, which is = just print money and forget about..

That's why GOLD will at least Double or Maybe triple till 2012. And I enjoying

watching this Monkey show every hour.. It's a race between turtle and

the ant for the faster runner contest.. Those clowns are really close to the

finish line..

P.S:

GDP numbers, which came out last Friday are phony and real Unemployment # realistically close to 20%

And Deflation = no ability to sell more DEBT, cause any other Countries are as well in Debt.

Except China so far.

I agree, fundamentals are what drives the market, and the charts are just a reflection of the fundamentals, so if you don't like to read too much, you can use the charts for short term trading,...once the fundamentals change, the chart begans to change.

USD strength partly from the published numbers, but also because the Treasury ended the free currency swaps started in 2008 where they gave dollars away to foreign banks practically for free so they could continue to lend dollars.

With that program ending in February, a huge surplus of dollars is drying up. Supply of dollars is down, supply of euros is rising to help Greece.... 1.35 is about 50% between one place and another.

yes exactly on that point about the federal reserve, it is a private bank that serves it's own interests, because of that, they recorded record profits, they simply print money for bailouts and get interest in real money earned

come on sky ....get real , look at the ' experts' calling oil to 200 at 130 , of course all the retail investors bought as they believed the bs they see on TV.

gold to 1500 when it was 1200 ... now look likes it is going to 1000

what you read , think the opposite 90% of the time you cannot go wrong

weren't the experts calling for 20% rise in the indexes 1st quarter of 2010 , instead we may have a 20 % drop.

Most so called experts do not have a clue , or they are are using the media to manipulate the markets they want it to go. ( or in the case of talking something up to sell into the strength)





If you missed the drop what would you do ? of course you would say that euro was going to go higher ... and what are they talking about 1.4500 by YEAR END , that is 12 months almost.

Those that like EW can see wee have a wave 1 and 2 completion on monthly ..wave 3 parity

at this point UNLESS 1.4500 is taken out it is sell all rallies for swing trade target could be 1.2500

monthyl has bull div rsx and rsi suggesting a 2000 to 6000 pip move, refer to notes on charts

cad monthly is inverse of eu monthly

wave 1 and 2 has formed , wave 3 1.4000 maybe at least a test of 1.3000

I had to go through this weekend with several open trades with my ea.
I need to see a 40 pip retace in a 120 pip movement.
In other words if my trade goes another 120 pips and does not retrace once at 40 pips I loose my whole account. My MT_SR shows support at 1.3868 up to 1.3910 I need 1.3917 for TP. What shocked me was Friday movement the market went over 120 pips from my first trade and never once retrace more than 20 pips.
Any idea how opening will look?

dj ... using trade guider for 1st time since lows we have seen the trend diamond last change white , this indicates trend is changing and could be longer term trend change, also note we broke bottom of channel and we had a trap up move on weekly ( very bearish reversal set up)
not saying this will go down in a staight line , but for sure overall strock market is weakening

usd is flight to safter when this happens

does not look good for you to be honest

you may see some form of bounce. but seem we are very bearish and closed on lows of day Friday with out any of the usual profit taking bounce.

there has been some high volume buying on 4 hour at 1.3858 , which is capped on up side at 1.3889 . If we get back above 1.3889 then we may see move into 1.3980 9 upper value area friday)

however i hate to say this but eu is really sell rallies till we get strong reversal on daily

we r still in downtrend waiting to get a bottom and it could be very near to that the chart shows what i think might happen when we get wave4 it ll go down to finish wave5 at 1.38 area major correction should occur . to make sure wait on first leg to occur and 2nd leg to test 1.38 if it s not broken we ll go up
