Hey, hope everyone had a great trading week. I didnt really trade this pair this week bc my margin was wrapped up in gbp/nzd shorts. Here's one of my weekly charts sans indis with major trendlines and fib levels over the EU lifetime. It seems to work well.

I lost 5,2k only for this first i had positions in 1.42 then 1.41 then 1.40 ... and i all the way down
Well its confirmed I am crap at buying into retracements.. was positive all this week except 3 crappy trades going long into retracements only for it to shaft me hard and put my trading in negative equity this week... good lesson learnt... start again next week... best of luck everyone..

Hope everyone had a good trading week and takes some time off over the weekend, I'll be looking over my charts. Have been reading here for awhile but just started posting this week, although i doubt there is a correlation between my trading and posting I had a pretty good week following this trend. See you guys in a couple days, good luck to you guys in the SE US with this white death.

I would say that i was in a very simular position the week before **burned** This week i did not trade. How could I? These crazy trading days is something new to me. As a new trader ( less than year ) my mind was tuned in a bulish monmentum and sudenly i am realising that the market has riched 1.38 from 1.52 in 2 months 'with no wornings' ....

Alright, I'm all caught up again. I slept through London close and didn't wake up until like an hour before close...

Nice little wake up profit again though, 6/10 hit TP over night on G/u & E/u...closed 2 more manually right before closed and gonna let a couple ride(my SLs are @ about +100 on both pairs).

I've just been trading this chart(same one from yesterday evening) on the 1 hr basically...along with gator lines/fib...

what you say is complete crap ... really. Give up the dollar bear thing till charts say dollar is bear .. you are making yourself look like a fool .

dj is coming off a top . Think of 10700 as 14400. at 14400 where was eu ?

I will show you this one more time before i stop wasting my breath on you.

dx is in an UP trending channel has been ever since 2008 , top of channel is 92 that could be where we are going.

eu weekly .... downtrend channel , choose your fib extension 1.288 , 1.2270 or even 1.1500 all seem like viable targets for 2010 / 2011

I am day trader by nature but have been playing SHORT gold this week , short eu and short es ... cannot go wrong.

Keep on buying .. your account will not be big enough to handle the draw down that will be handed to you

Anyway the breakout managed to the fullest depth & after bull failure( against profit taking ) and like a fool I placed pending shorts at higher levels it should not play before the bottom( of the channel only 1.38 around or creeping down as low as possible ) first , above 1.3920-48. Few also just below 1.3900 /15 may work.
still have time to think for next week & read what others say.

OK, I am back to continue from my last post on this pairs. This time, I have tweaked the format of my trading thoughts to something like this :-

Last current closing price- 13850

Continuing PB level located@ 13888/13900 level

PB level- 13900 if breached will PB to level 13945/55@ current PA and if this level breached will sent this pairs to retracement level located@14030/50. And if this level is breached means there will be a s/t trend change to test the higher r/t level located @14430/50 level.

For the coming week, according to my dynamic PA movement, I believe that price will continue to drift downwards to 13820/13770 level after having tested the continuing pb level@ 13888/13900 or at most pb to 13945/55 level before continuing its drive southward with the final target located @13300 level and then 12700 level in due course. Hopefully, there will be someone out there who is able to catch my drift and profit from it. Dont forget to use the fib to plot your trade setups accordingly.

Ignore this post at your own risks and happy pippings alllll................and sorry I sux in putting my trading thoughts across becos basically I am purely a trader and a trainee trading thought conveyor in the making.

This weeks candle close does not inspire any confidence for bulls,

Either a yearly low will be in place soon (1.3750 area) or the dollar will rule the world this year..

February has a story to tell but i am starting to think green pips will be banked by those selling rallies.

We'll see !

Keep in mind, next week is NFP. Forecasts are good numbers for USD. More meltdown incoming?
