the initial move is starting to retrace back to where it was at before the news. yen is weakening and seemingly holding across the board. with this huge GDP number, the equities should open higher and it should be a big day on wall st(retrace), which obviously is bad for USD. but who knows, nothing this week is happening like it should

well there were lots of moments this week that kept me saying WTF, OHH COME ON, OR JUST F... THIS!

What happened to just normal reactions, which is the usual thing that happens, most of the time.

I'm gonna stay up until the wall st opens, see what happens then....

It can go down. If you look at the AUD/USD around Sep 08 (ala Lehman Brothers collapse) you'll see how the Aussie plummeted against the USD.

But as you mentioned before, strong economic data can also contribute to a stronger USD. Sentiment and how the markets view the US dollar can change.

I have seen that happen too, days when stocks and USD rally against everything... JPY weakness for now means good for all the majors, maybe thats why there was bullish moves against A/U, anyway i'm giving up on thinking why??? I will never know and forget when i take my pips and go to bed and say f... it don't care what happens for the rest of day as long i'm up on my last weeks $$$ amount...

You seem to be rright about3969 level. Actually now between price and 3969 we got 1, 5 and 15 100MA's acting also as support. Also 3934 seems to be a complicated level for bears. As I write this it's trying to break it.

next gu you target 5966 plus slippage.. i slept through first target (redline) it was already hit..

Will the co-relation between USD and DJ hold true today? If it does then we should see reversal(atleast for NYsession) and good opportunity to SELL when DJ closes.

By the way the target of H&S formation on 4h TF was 6030 and we have 6034. Should see a retrace soon.

also the 3926 was respected a little on eu... so now after 3911 we may c 3880.. numbers said 3865... but big chart said 3880... if you look at the 2008 drop you will we had a hell of a retrace around this level.. i doubt it will happen this time.. but be aware of it..
