I was looking at the Average True Range (ATR) based upon a 14 period on the daily chart for GBP / USD. For those who are not familiar with the ATR it measures the average range for the chart that you are looking at. Effectively (for a daily chart) the likely daily difference between the high and low
Here is the ATR highs and lows over the last few months:
October------high 198 pips
------------- low 167 pips
November----high 194 pips
------------- low 174 pips
December----high 197 pips-------Up to 18th...Ignored
DislikedI think Vt is similar with MT4 and I suppose you have the same possibility to trade this method. No need in EA or indicators to use draw the lines according to method (Tasciy's, Scull's or Grant's) and that is all.Ignored

DislikedI want to post some research I have done on Scull's method.
This was done on forward testing on a live IBFX account only from 1 November.
Took all trades except NFP Friday and 10 November when box was to big.
Trades = 11
Wins = 6
Losers = 5
% Win = 55
Pips = -20
Then I put Grant's 85 EMA on the chart and only bought when it was blue and sold when it was red.
Trades = 8
Wins = 6
Losers = 2
% Win = 75
Pips = 100
When I put Dubai Trader's 25 and 50 slope indicators on the 1 hour chart and omly bought when both were blue and sold when both...Ignored
Dislikedi'm confused, you say when the 85 ema is blue or red. i've been looking all over for this ema. where do you get this?Ignored

Disliked[color=black]I have been watching and trading this method for some time and used the 85EMA for trend direction, provided by our smart trader fellow and friend grant. However I later found the Vegas' Tunnel's emas worked best for spotting major support and resistance levels. The Vega's Tunnel 1 hour method uses a [font=Times New Roman][font=Verdana][size=2]144 and 169 and uses the 12 ema as direction on 1 hour chart. I only use the 144 and 169 emas (Exponential EMA Apply to: close in MT4 charts). Look at my chart and see how price hits and bounces...Ignored
