Can anyone confirm that we have: -40 yesterday, +30 today according to the scull's method.

sorry danny boy not sure what VT is, but the set up works on any chart system lliterally choose which 2 hour box you want and draw lines on your chart

no trade on grants and a loss on sculls just to the long side very tight 40 pips stop got hit by anout 3 pips then reversed and went on to surge for 70-80 pips as i write, beyond the long entry at 1.61504

I think Vt is similar with MT4 and I suppose you have the same possibility to trade this method. No need in EA or indicators to use draw the lines according to method (Tasciy's, Scull's or Grant's) and that is all.

It is strange, I missed today's trade but it seems to me that today would be a +30. I suppose we have different time boxes.

Today I had a winner with Scull's original 5 to 7:30 method.

This is really a testing month and will keep you humble.

Yes, if you had included the 7:15 - 7:30 bar it would have been a clear winner. I'm only using up to the 7:00 - 7:15. Horses for courses, I don't think one strategy will have wildly differing results from the other.
VT trader is a forex platform at cms fx
I had 30+ with Scull...but used the range of the box which was 50 for S/L.
It seems that there are two main stream method:
Scull and grant method

Is there any conclusion or result of these 2 methods?

Hi All,

I've been testing this method and did well starting from 2007. Best results gave 2009, whereas worst was prior 2007. The question is why is this so? This method is based on the fact that brokers/dealers hunt some stops before opening of London. The question is, what/how did they before?

I think in long term prospective both have almost the same result. It is all about MM.

First time posting. I have been following this thread and the Big Dog for some time.

Can anyone help me distinguish between Ea's

I believe the 3 most recent are from RBI, Anthony and Henry (adapted Anthony )

I am trying to run RBI latest Box Breakout v 1.3 . did not work

Is there a consensus one to use and if so does it run with Slope Direction Line?

I would also appreciate a set file(suggested settings) that would be the most current to verify settings.

I truly respect all the contributors here for their efforts, especially the ones that put in time to create and share these EA's

I have been watching and trading this method for some time and used the 85EMA for trend direction, provided by our smart trader fellow and friend grant. However I later found the Vegas' Tunnel's emas worked best for spotting major support and resistance levels. The Vega's Tunnel 1 hour method uses a 144 and 169 and uses the 12 ema as direction on 1 hour chart. I only use the 144 and 169 emas (Exponential EMA Apply to: close in MT4 charts). Look at my chart and see how price hits and bounces off the emas, especially the last 2 days at our trading times. I dont watch the trend's direction anymore. I am just more careful, once price is moving towards the 144 and 169 emas. Most of the times price just bounces off these emas, but sometimes price comes back and tries to break through the emas up to 3 times. I enter without hesitation a trade if price is moving away from the emas. On a different case, I would enter a trade in direction of the break if price breaks through the emas while still in the 5-7 box. Or I will stay away if price is moving towards the emas after it breaks the 5-7 box. I didn't trade these last 2 days as price was trying to break through the emas yesterday and today the price moved in direction of the emas. Remember price might bounce off the emas and hit your SL. Just my 2 cents. I hope it helps your trading success.
P.S.: Hopefully my idea is not stolen by the idiot that's selling this method for $49
