I am neither a bull nor a bear at the present. I am totally neutral. The Wednesday news that awaits is too great with any outcome possible. In other words, at the present the market is simply ranging at the low. As long as that low holds..one could say its a double bottom compared to last week(not likely to hold). If you are bearish..well we have the trend we have been in since last week to back that up. Now even though I am temporarily neutral...my bias or gut feeling still says a retest of the low of the range or a new low period before anything else is most likely hence the position...half one in any case..not much harm to be done.

I'm sidelined to see what happens with gold... it may take a couple of days, but at the end of the week we may well have a pretty good idea of future direction, and the conviction that what happened in late December was "manipulation".

Welcome back.

Yes, 1.4000 is a difficult level for bears. I am a trapped bull looking at 1.4500 to BE and eyeing at 1.5500 to bag some green pips. It will be very long wait for me.

I hate to suggest this as you are the only master of your account but in my opinion...if PA falls below 1.4000 after the big news on Wed and continues to do so after the Bernanke decision...you really need to reconsider whether having a long term bullish stance is the most wise thing to do, technically and fundamentally.

On another note...January has met my expectations and more as you recall my history...I have a win and feel nothing other then a small sense of satisfaction. I lose a trade and feel nothing period...no more revenge trading like before with over leverage. This year is the one for me Chicky...hope the best for you too.

Ok I redid my chart for the PA tonight.

Canceling previous orders.

It doesn't look like it will get up to 4115...

Nice triangle forming. Might see 4095-4100 which is short entry, SL 4120. TP is 4030, TP2 is 3950.

Psi, You are one of the best.

My longs are not revenge trades. It is a bit difficult for me to digest that value of a currency quickly appreciating despite several factors indicating economic deterioration. I am not sure if my knowledge of economics is correct but this is what the book says. Most probably I have picked a wrong currency to short the USD with.
