Hi...
I had two ideas on EURUSD short, and it looks like I focused on the wrong one this time as EURUSD didn't make its way much higher before "dropping like it's hot!"

The pair did break below the rising trendline and after a broad based US Dollar rally the pair is now trading around 1.4100. Needless to say, I don't think the pair will retest my entry point, so it's time to close my entry orders. No trade.

I'm a bit mad at myself for not putting up two orders, but it's a lesson hopefully learned and I may have to make adjustments in the future.

Until then, let's see if this sharp EURUSD drop will stall and pull back or continue lower from here. Hard to tell with more data coming out for the rest of the week, so it's all about staying alert and acting fast. Stay on your toes and stay tuned!

Preferred view is still for a fall to 1.6095 - 1.5975 while 1.6285 - 1.6354 area resists. A clear break of 1.6596 would be bullish again ...

Scenario for today :

Elliott : irregular flat correction down 1.6027

While below 1.6206 - 1.6243 it might drop to 1.6068 or 1.5994. Breach of above 1.6269 - 1.6287 and 1.6310 would dampen the downside. Stops above 1.6350 - 1.6363 zone ...

Market should not go lower than 1.6095/ 86 or 1.6068 - 1.6048. After this move down it should cross above 1.6158 - 1.6178 and go up to 1.6199 - 1.6228 area. Be aware that there is still a weekly objective down to below 1.6033 - 1.5975 zone ...

Does anyone have an explanation for this huge lack of movement in EVERY pair??? Does WEF Annual Meetings have anything to do with it? Or maybe FFR tomorrow? Or is it just the market doesn't know where to go???

It is Asian session and this happens at least once a week where the market goes flat...

Aussie is the only one that has any movement, especially against GBP. Made over 200 pips on that pair since last night...
