Also the 4 hour chart ends with a "near" doji. This is a similar to the 14th, prior to the big breakout. On another note, there are many high impact news tomorrow including Bernanke vote and traders may be cautious.

Amazing EU sitting on that Trade Line whole day long and now

right on it, never broke it down.. I suspect it's going higher, cause

there was enough time to push it lower already.

Its not that simple. Risk versus reward by itself is meaningless. Risk versus reward multiplied by success rate is what matters...

How you like that statement:

$700/oz for 2012???? Hahahaha, today 1 oz of GOLD mining costs are 800-900$/oz, Just a cost, without profit!

What a Bunch of clowns... By 2012 Gold will be pushing $2000/oz,

the way those money printers are running.

What a tight range over the past 24 hours. Haven't seen something like this after such a volatile week in quite some time. Well, its time to get moving soon as the end of the road of that bear flag versus downtrend has been approached...am still bearish..still half position from market open...still looking for a better entry for a full position (now is anywhere from 1.4180 to 1.4215 (upper wall of downtrend or upper wall of bear flag). While the Asian session was not active when the market opened, or the Euro session, or the US session.....this Asian session holds great promise to get this pair moving today. Let's see now what happens over the next few hours...

Could go higher (I wish it would, so I could load some more shorts). But what you see as EUR strength, I see as weakness: EURUSD is in a pullback from the downtrend on the 4H, and yet it hugged the bottom trendline all day long - it couldn't make significant progress upwards. When it tried to run in the AM, it was slammed back down.

Totally agree. But you want to have a high percentage win/loss using that risk/reward.

H4 chart looks very much like a rounding top to me with a nice evening star in the middle...

Clear penetration down through 1.4130 will put me into bear mode and look for specific short term entrys.

At the moment it is to rangy between 1.4130 and 1.4180 for me so I am staying out untill we see a clear move...

If risk to reward is 1:2 you need 33/67 winners vs losers to break even. I personally prefer setups with 1:3 or more.
