what are you blabbering about? He's talking about a position he opened before the weekend and is closing since he is up at the start of this week. I don't understand why you started talking about your brokers spread and price, let alone in an hour?????

Any increase in buying pressure after the extreme drop from the first Bear Channel may only represent what it took to keep it from falling more! In other words, if a chance to have upwards consolidation in preparation for another leg down was desired, they first had to stop the drop!

A lot of people will claim that Sunday's are not good trading days, and that there is no vlume on opening. But these last few weeks, we have seen a s*#@t storm right around Asian opening on Sunday's, just a quick reminder for the newbies on the forum!

The PA that lead to a break down is also within a channel (green trendlines) that has been respected pretty well all week with pa hugging the lower wall. Now we are consolidating towards the upper wall in what also appears to be a bear flag. This is worth noting because if the "area of interest #1" gets reached in this bear flag consolidation manner, that may prove to be the next great selling point.

Just entered short with half a position (1.156) 7minutes after my broker opened. My reasoning is...we may not reach that ideal area so I would rather not miss the ride down. On the other hand...if we do reach that level and I get stopped out (50pip stop loss) and I still feel very bearish...I get my ideal entry short with a full position. It is a win/win situation and I will benefit no matter what. The reason I say this is because if we are to break up hard (which I highly doubt)....I would have no time to place that second order because the move would happen so quick..which in essence saves me some pips.

my guess it will reach 4220 around 9AM 2010.01.25 then drop down . i will sell around that area

possible retrace to 4242 tl or math said 4250 another said 4286 and another 4288.. we usauly over shoot a few. so im looking at on dec chart 4260 76 93 if 4242 tl breached. will reconsider short st above 4305.. below 4238 bearish again st

Wow, exact time and date...aka the US session. What makes you think the Asian and European sessions will not bring much action? All of last week the Asian session especially was very active...what makes today any different in your eyes? Just curious.

The last 5 attempts, including this one, on the H1 chart have failed to close above 4158 (23.6 fib). Perhaps this little bull run is running out of steam. Time will tell

just guessing. i used geometry to extrapolate and my extrapolation hit the 50% fibo exactly. it is still a guess.

Understood. You used the statistician method. My psychological method(aka analyzing the strength of bulls versus bears just by watching candles) tells me the action will happen sooner rather then later. Let's just say my gut feeling says the Asian traders would feel left out if they did not contribute to Friday's move (the panicky selloff in the US stock market which usually means a flight to safety aka a stronger dollar). Then again..like you said..this is my guess..time will tell.

i am just experimenting with geometric analysis, symmetry, etc. i believe this market geometry could be related to market dynamics, just like Fibo or EW or trend lines/channels. nothing guaranteed though.

it is good when different traders with different techniques converge on the same conclusion within some bound error
