no but let me bottom line it for you.
it's based on a 5M charts.
the basic principle is this. Short term PA LOVES to hit numbers twice and often three times (hi and lows that is).

I wait past news and all the "big boys" makin the market do what they want (after the big 100+ pip moves) from there it will mildly range. basically i wait for it to shoot up like it's going to rocket (or drop sharply) and i counter the trade. (this is assuming there is no news going on or major market opening or closings).

so i like to trade after UK closes till sydney.
after tokyo opens thru UK open. Frankfurt can be a little whippy sometimes so it's crucial to be careful during that first hour before UK. Once UK opens i don't like trading cuz it's just too volitile for me plus there is usually a lot of news coming out. when i'm trading most of the news it gone for the day.

i use a few MA's a 200 SMA, 50 SMA, 50 EMA (the two fifties act like stocastics) 20 EMA.
I also have some parabolic SR as a visual ref since during ranges that's where the PA likes to return to.

it's a bit intuitive so i can't truly "recomend" what i'm doing. I've studied GU ONLY for 3 years on the 5M chart so i'm pretty comfortable with the PA here.

PLEASE do not try to mix what i'm doing with EO's stuff. His stuff is very straight forward and analytical. i'm affraid of disterous results if you try to mix the two. that's why i haven't mentioned a whole lot about my sys for that reason.

i'm with you on the coffee. i woke up and ran to starbucks asap to get my crack fix, but the cig's.....mmm yeah can't do it. that would make me jittery and pukey. i quick smoking 20 years ago.

interesting system! i enjoy EO's system very much, i used to be an ichimoku kind of guy, but that stuff eventually made me go crazy...seeing clouds in my sleep and all. EO's stuff is just simple and effective, which i love. no more dissecting a rat to interpret the next PA.

for me personally, i make the vast majority of my pippage compounding 5 oclock trades on the 5M charts, but im working towards mastering the HTF moves.

i tried many times to do the HTF but my patience level is very low with trading so the 5M really suited my needs, not to mention that in the last 3 months i've learned to take my 50 pip per day goal turn into 150-200 pips per day so that give me the instant gratification my mind needs.

if you can master the HTF's i think you'll be better off. That will give you the ability to check ur charts, set a trade and walk away. i can't do that yet.

Do you mean you work off of the 5m chart, or do you take the trade off the 15m and then go to the 5m?

questions are no problem! i actually use the same ma's with the addition of a 150ema to represent the mighty 15M 50ema.
