Dude we have news on pound in 5 minutes. Remember how yesterday's rate of inflation of GBP affect EUR/USD?? Bad news on claimant counts and unemployment could be what we need to ride south! We'll see in a while!!!

Long since 1.4190 and 1.4200 targeting the resistance @ 1.4260-70 fist then 1.4300
Risky trade i admit but worth a try based on PA with all these long candle closing "far" from their low and supported by vol (1h tf)...probably load of traders buying there

EURO-DOLLAR: Chipping away at the topside, but progress above $1.4210
proving laboured with traders noting earlier talk of semi official
layered offers placed from above $1.4210. Tech traders note that $1.4215
is 38.2% of the day's fall from $1.4295 to $1.4166, a break here to open
a move toward $1.4230/35.

Excelent new for cable and no price movement. Guess it reflects USD strenght. Can't fin another explanation. Any guess? or better any certainty?? LOL!

News message h3 { font-size:14px; } p { font-size:12px; } A Russian account is believed to have been a [CABLE] buyer pre events, but no sustained gains beyond 1.6300 is happening just yet. The better than expected UK jobs report, i.e. -15.2k is the biggest fall in the claimant count since Apr 2007, could prove a prop. The BOE, meanwhile, talks of positive GDP in Q4. However, we still expect Gbp/Usd to come under relative intraday selling pressure into the 1.6325 and 1.6350/55 regions, although much will depend on the path of the broader Usd ahead. Eur/Gbp stays fairly soft, but has not made that clear sub-0.8700 move yet.

News message h3 { font-size:14px; } p { font-size:12px; } Another f/c beating and perhaps gravity defying decline in the [UK JOBLESS TALLY] with a much bigger than expected 15.2k fall in the Dec claimant count vs -2.5k f/c, and with Nov's already unexpected decline revised to -10.8k from -6.3k as well. However, this still left the unemployment rate at 5%, even though the drop in the number of claimants last month was the biggest since Apr 2007. Seasonal factors may be hiding the real picture, although the headline numbers are undoubtedly encouraging for signs of a recovery in the lagging labour market.

We also bounced back from 100 MA on 5M chart...it's been a pain in the ass last days. Definitly going down big time!
