might switch to short once 1.4446 is reached for 1.4360

But we are in an uptrend, why do all of you want to go short now? I mean, ok a correction is expected, but the USD rally was mostly based on the forecasted interest rate hikes, which have been now seen as unlikely in H1 2010.

Of course EUR does not have a great economy and the recovery is slower than USA, but still at the moment and for a few months or quarters it will pay more to have it than the USD?

At least that's the theory...

I'll do the other way....once 1.4440 is reached i'll go long and reload around 1.4410

nice downtrend now... can see the 4hr chart is forming well...

for better viewing... also see the 15m chart... but i feel there is some retracement up b4 going down... so gona long 1 mini here...

Everyone sounds convinced that last years uptrend is over.

What if this was just a retracement before the move north continues?

After down there must come an up

The eternal question is how much can down be?

I have the very same lines drawn, and I'm not yet satisfied that the uptrend is over. December was a bit crazy, and the world isn't really back up to speed after the holidays, so I see the current PA as just noise. I want to see something more before comitting either way, but my 'gut indicator' tells me that we may not have seen the last of the uptrend yet...imo of course!!

imo the trend is not over and will not be for next many months

im pretty convinced, that it will continue north as long no other unexpected shock will hit the markets (china maybe, dubai worsens, debt/credit crash, etc...)

Apart from maybe Jay most of the other traders here (myself included)kept expecting eu to top up even at 1.44 in August.

That goes to show how so many people could use so many indies and fundies and still be way wrong..

A firm close above 1.46 would be reassuring though

Anyway, we see that the EUR bull trend is here for several years now (since 2001), the problem is only the correction, since we should (sometime in the future years) see the value 1,25 - 1,30.

That's the real trend, everything else is only "noise", which can be profitable, of course...

Playing inside channel and bullish traingle.............. probabilites of breakout......
