All signs are there for EUR bulls and still so many 'EUR-Kamikazes' here are on the short side... throwing money out of the window onto the street goes faster.

Watch out for NY close above 1.4550.
I'd like to see it close above 1.4520.

1.4550 would be nice.

A close below 1.45 will be a sign that the bearish trend since dec might resume. Close above 1.4550 will confirm that a medium term bottom was in place last week.

EUR, GBP and AUSSI look very heavy at current levels.

Fortunes can change very quick.

Am protecting profit from my long positions and move SL up.

A bearish opportunity might be building up... but am still on the sidelines for that.

Aussi was a very sweet short, no troubles protecting 9320 level, should move down more later today

It's all depends on Equity Market, currently up 8.7 points. If DOW will

drop 30-40 points then EU more likely to close below 1.45.

P.S. Driver, still short on U/J from last week @ 93.00. Weekly trendline holding... hoping to tp near 87.00. We will see. This may take some time to play out.
I'm short too on usdJpy.... avg price 92.91.

EUR/USD Breaks 1.45

On a quiet Japanese holiday the thin Asian session has continued the push against the USD, moving EUR/USD through 1.45. On Friday following a weaker than expected employment report from the US, risk pairs and equities somewhat surprisingly again gained support at the 200 day moving average and this session has moved through what was seen as mild resistance at 1.45. The next resistance level appears around the 100 day moving average, whereas a break of the 200 day could bring the 1.37 handle into play.

Then depends on your capital. I would not risk more than 2% on that one.

If I understood your abreviation - it says account with 12'500 US$ Margin you are short 100'000 US$ from 1.4515 ... right?

Just a reminder that 4569-4575 zone is a important fibonacci level which is the 38.2 retracement of the move from 5145 to 4213. I would rather wait till the mid point of the japaneese session or end of day today to get in on a sell at that level.
It would probably be better to wait until price reaches 1.4625 area and gives a short signal.
