imo - this is the situation and the line was already broken

And I have a bit different view on it with a resistance line starting from 2008 Aug 07. Will stay aside with this trade unless the price would brake the line, then would consider to go long with the trend. As the trend is up I don't like the timing to go against it.

(EUR/JPY) Broadening wedge on h4 whith some rsi divergence

got in after the break,and stopped out later.would take more time to observe in different timeframe next time.

Regarding to EUR/JPY, yesterday yen showed some strenth against other currencys, hollding some nice profit on GJ

Jumped in a bit late with my short at 133.57, as DIV changed targeting to 132.36. SL 25 pips (1%). Out at 132.53 with a 104 pips profit (4.1%).

In the last hours / days I entered the following long term trades (at least I hope so):

AUD/USD: short @ 0.9172 - Reason: right border of daily diamond... it had to go back there to show us how the diamond really looks like. Lots of people confused the diamond with a H&S formation.... this strenghend me in my opinion that it will be a diamond...

CAD/JPY: short @ 89.35 - Reason: could be upper boarder of a huge daily diamond.... at least symmetric with June high @ 89.39. Breakout should be down... A few weeks ago I would have thought that the diamond looks differently... it seems that the borders are now fully formed.

I entered with 15 pips S/L - I will keep AUD/USD trade till end of the year... for CAD/JPY we might see a change of direction in the middle of the year... Generally I think that this will be the case for all JPY pairs...

Let's see how the trades perform... if I am stopped out I am fine too...

There is also a diamond @ AUDCHF as stated in the forum already - even though I think it' s valid and we might have seen the top of the right upper border already, I preferred the other pairs.

Broadening Triangle on AUDUSD m15. I hope that we see it ranging now for a while... in case it forms a Diamond I would like to have the main diagonale going up... this increases probability of downside breakout... btw... might be a chance to get in at around .9162 where I would expect the right upper boarder....

But... we don't know how it develops... therefore its important that we have no opinion about it and act according to market movements.... having an opinion about future market movements is my biggest weakness - unfortunately :-(

I closed my AUDUSD short position as the current main diagonal of the broadening triangle would be down (if a diamond is formed what I currently expect...).

I still assume that we will go down... therefore I am now looking for a sell on the same level again as sold before... maybe we see a dual-diag diamond... let's see...

Hmm...stairing at the AUDUSD chart all the time... maybe the daily diamond is not finished yet and it wants to form the main diagonal to the upside now... hmm... the gap @ 0.9418 is also still open... hmmm...

[EDIT] Taking a look at the current picture I would prefer DOWN... but... actually I don't care - short entered... and... reverse order waiting...

Comb on GU H4 with a DIV pointing towards ~1.6069.

Will you sell again on upper right border when we approach it? Would be 3rd touch and diagonal suggests downward breakout... would be textbook case because when turning down again it would then be the 4th touch... and... if I am not wrong on H1 we are currently forming a flat surface - agree?

The only thing I don't like at this diamond is its placement directly in sideways movement... but great spot - thanks a lot!
