There is a major support at 43592 and then 43372. on my h4.
if it closes under 43592 for me on the h1.. we may range down to 433..

GERMANY DATA FLASH] Indicator For Actual Consensus Previous GER Retail Sales SA M/M Nov-09 -1.1% 0.2% 0.0% GER Retail Sales NSA Y/Y Nov-09 -2.8% -1.7% -1.6% R 07:02 GMT - [EUR/DLR] dips to 1.4370, seems to be meeting some bids there, but currently is further pushed lower to the mid 1.43's. News from Dubai is again weighing on the Eur. Problems in Dubai has not moving for solution at all, as Dubai's creditors' are not calling for repayment or foreclosure proceeding against Dubai World assets, while there is no restructuring plans revealed (Dubai held an incomplete meeting on Dec 21, only half of the 300 creditors attending the meeting).

I know what is published is what moves the m arket however this is what will happen in dubai. FYI i am from dubai and family is been here since 33 years now.
Dubai will take money from Abu Dhabi to pay off the creditors on time and full amounts.
Even if the shiekh decides to want a standstill he will ORDER it and the creditors WILL agree.
Bottom line - Nothing will happen to DUBAI. Creditors will be paid eventually in full. They will still do Business in Dubai. But yeah alll the towers of Dubai will be ghost towns! which trust me they already are.. sad but true coz i love this place!

it seems to be a beautiful place. and as you said a ghost town. this is just one of many payments.. if its a ghost town there is less to pay the bills.. so supply and demand drops prices.. with decreasing value they may get this bill paid.. but if ghost town remains and further decreases value whos gonna throw good money after bad?

i agree to that 100%... thank god i sold what i owned during the boom.
However, the number of business houses defaulting is VERY HIGH in dubai and i am too reeling under that.
Sadly all these businesses directly did not have any dealing with realty market.but the owners invested in the property hoping to double their money in a couple months but now they have huge mortgages staring them in the eye so they fled the country (since the major population is expats)
and sadly the law is incompetent to get these ppl back through Interpol.

Dubai's Main problem was it wasnt prepared for a bad time. since 1971(when the country formed ) its juss gone up up up!. they didnt even have a bankruptcy law and still dont.
If you fuck up even a 100$ payment u can be put in prison.. which sucks because there are some ppl who cheat but some who genuinely lost wealth due to the property market crash...

Finally we heard a law is coming out soon when the shk wanted to save his ass with the Dubai world issue!

Waiting to see how many ppl file under the new law when it comes... THAT WOULD BE INTERESTING!

Eur is holding up while GBP is tanking... Still short EU from 1.4442 and thinking about selling GBP if it returns to 1.5980-1.6 area
