As long as we remain inside this inverted flag I am a bear. This consolidation period is a sing of continuation and if that is the case the next strong support is at .3750's ( 38.2 fibo) on the other hand if price breaks north I expect it to reach somewhere around .4850's where it broke the daily trendline.

I've been an options/equities trader for 7 + years, and forex for almost 3. I hope I am not alone in this, but I've noticed since the Bear market for "Riskier assets" has kicked in, the intraday volatility has been brutal. What I mean by this is in the last 18 months, Fib levels have been ignored and volatility has been cuthroat. Eur/Usd is the most liquid of all the Forex pairs, and even this pair has been subject to these "for the brave" conditions in the Foreign Exchange Market.

I was touring some "trader websites" (taken with two grains of salt) and noticed a banner for Citibank offering MT4 as a platform for Forex. I found this odd. A major US bank, offering a platform for speculative investments. Does anyone else find this odd? The attraction to Forex (for me anyway) was that Forex was THE translation of macroeconomics; a regulation-free market that expresses the true sentiment of the global economic community. Citibank's involvement in Forex (outside of their usual buying and selilng of USD of course) tells me that the Fx market has been bastardized in a way. I worry that Citibank and the like are selling retail traders snake oil. If Citibank acts as an uber-capitilized broker in an unregulated market, then they can manipulate at will.

I post this on this board because there are many traders here that I respect greatly, Bemac and Acumen for example. I want to know if anyone shares this same sentiment that the Fx market has been a "Sellers Paradise" at the expense of the retail trader.

I post little, but trade much more. BUT, this has changed over the last year, as I cannot understand the behavior and action of today's Fx market. Fx was once a renegade trader's market, but now we have Citibank at the helm.
