My two cents Tree. I think that your trendline is drawn without taking into account the swing highs in between the two that you have chosen. While I'm no trendline expert, I wouldn't consider the information that I get from such a line as helpful to my trading decision. I am long on this pair because of what I spy on the four hr. I really like those significant looking pins like the one I have indicated. I have also drawn a trendline on this chart. Take a look at what price does at this line. Like so much of what we do here, some is art, some is science. You'll get it sooner or later. Just spend time reading this thread and looking at both posted charts and live ones. Also, do not take any trades here just because you see a guy with 10V next to his name taking it. Especially if that guy is me. We all have losers. This is a probabilities gig. The only certainty is uncertainty.

My IBFX closes in 1hr 7 min. Here is an FXPro chart. Already closed. No cigar. Bear in mind that I havent looked at SR or divergence. Just posting a chart.

I did that homework for yah, .7400 round number, weekly PPZ, and divergence on macd and rsi

EDIT: no cigar, bad pin.......

What! I have a staff now? I'll be throwing all kinds of charts at you for investment advice. I'll need you to look at this gbpusd 4 hr as well. While you are at it let's take a peek at EU 4hr. Tell me if you think that GU will tank faster than EU as I'm long on EuroGBP. HAHa! !!!! Let's roll Dan!

Thanks I see what you mean with your trend line, i guess mine is making it see what I want it to see. My IBFX doesn't show the same Bull pin as yours it actually shows a near 8h pin from around the same period so I guess long is looking good.

Get you an FXPRO feed as well. I can't tell you how many times it has helped me to look at other feeds. I look at three.

Firstly, my thanks to you for sharing what you have.
I fully concur that spoon feeding is detrimental, that's largely my world view too.

I have been doing some hw into fundi info for ccys for abit cause Livermore often talked about the "general conditions" for a big big swig type of trend.

I have a couple of buddies who interned for the big boys before, from what I gather, they develop a view and hang on for dear life since they're piling in big... they do look at fundi data for sure.

For me, I develop my view generally by reading the news, and not "collecting data" and number crunching like an economist.

Was wondering what else you look at other than rate differentials which I am also aware it.
(In essence it creates incentive for people to go long the ccy... if and only if the economy is sufficiently healthy.)

If it is abit out of topic on this chart thread, pse PM me. Wish not to clog up the thread.

Cyrus. The above Understanding IS the Market. Unrest or uprising in the Host Country is the vehicle by which it's ccy moves. PPZ's & Fibs are Then brought into the equasion.
That's why my intrest in times of sombre equiessence grew.

I haven't made one of these chart zoomed pics in a long time.... I think on this pair, i was so frustrated my first touch trade was missed by about 3-4 pips, that I completely lost interest in the pair altogether... and this happened. I don't care, there will be so many more opportunities in the future.

This one isn't horrible, I just don't like the time of day it occurred. Except for the divergence we don't have much reason as to why it is getting held up. I think Jarroos "fast break" or cut out would be in play on this one.

nice pinbar. my concern here is the ongoing uptrend.
looks like the reverse of eurchf H4 (see PippingMama's & mbqb11's charts): immediate trouble area seem to be around 0.7315 - 0.7350.

EDIT: in the FXPro H4 chart, the 'pinbar' had a different shape. the open was 0.7376, close 0.7392. yours look nicer, shape-wise (open seem to be 0.7376, close 0.7381)
if u put on a line chart, u will see that there's an H4 PPZ around 0.7390, coincidentally (?) near the pinbar's closing price.
