Depending on what time frame you are talking about. The dollar is weak. Even George Soros said a few months ago that the dollar isn't going to weaken, it's already weak. Just look at chart. Economies don't change much over night, or even over a 10 year period. I would expect further strength with the dollar in the years ahead, but not because of anything fundamental, but just because things go up and down.

damn last time usdx was at this level eu was at 3700/3800... but this was when aud cad and kiwi were on there way up.. i doubt they get down to those levels when usdx was 80/81.... so if you are correct with your conservative estimate. eu will have to take the slack of the commodity pairs and it will be much lower then it was last time usdx was 80/81.

euro is not the only currency dollar is traded against.

Yes, there are only 2 central banks that will raise before US, and ECB is not one of them. So get used to it, dollar will continue to strengthen and there is dollar positive news coming out on Monday. EUR bulls v. $$ keep dreaming for 1.55 that will not come this time around.

EUR/CAD is a strange pair, it had it's best 3 months when EUR/USD had it's worse 3 months. Regardless, I'm seeing a broken downtrend line, and a 'possible' reverse head and shoulders. Wondered if anyone else is trading this pair.

of course i have losses ... eu 20 pip stops is enough. My win loss ratio is about 85% wins though. I do no this by waiting for the right set up according to vsa, trading with the trend ( the prevailing trend is still down on eu) using tight stops.

some days i may lose (2x 20 pip losses gu yesterday did not trade it again till today) , and others such as today and yesterday us session score 100 or more. Losing days 2 x 20 pip losses in a row and i am out. In fact today was 104 eu and 55 gu ...nice end to a weak when i was not supposed to be trading.

bulls you are screwed , look at every effort to go to 1.4400 being sold.....Happy New year

New years long range target 1.4160 1st week , then if price stays under that level 1.3671 (4/8 murrey math line ) on weekly
