gold is a commodity in our times not more. what can you do with oil if you physically have it? put into the garage. gold? the same. you can store wealth in every commodity. price of gold rising just means money paper gets more worthless. you can only express gold's worth in terms of money, numbers, but not the intrinsic value. if you check charts on which gold is s&p based, not dollar based, you see that it is not that overvalued and doing regular.
i am not arguing that the usd is crap, but all the fiats are and all of the keynesian followers have to print money. financial authorities have built their base in the usa and made sure, that the whole world can be affected by the things they do.

How the common Man is going to benefit by any bank in the world buying gold/Air as reserve against their countries forex. I cannot think none

What the RBI is going to do with this gold/Air are they going to distribute the
profit to the common man once the price reaches $2000 and more by selling to IMF back

India has made a big mistake of allowing the outflow of cash reserve by buying this gold/Air. The nation should work for the people. This money could have been used in many other good ways.

I dont know there was a physical delivery of gold to India. Any nation if the money was used wisley the need to print money as and when required would not have arisen in the first place .

i make it clear again here, paper money HAS no value, only expression of purchasing power. gold HAS value but the way we and the guys gunning the gold futures threat it is not based on the true demand, it is just putting liqduitiy to gun the markets and not because the fiat money system will collapse now even if it should. i am a big gold fan and yes, i see it at higher level too, but not without going sub 1k the next months.

nothing of relevance.

trading desks are empty. shark market with dealers hunting season.
you will not miss any substantial happening if you decide to stop trading till about 11. of janury.

You can do whatever you want, but personally I won't trade until at least 4 or 5 January. Probably even a week later. Remember most of the senior traders are on vacation until then. These Junior traders are like the newbs here...they'll throw a trade out there and hope for the best. Absolutely no logic.

Be careful. I'll be back trading no earlier than 4 or 5 January. Probably a week later though. Take care.

DR G is just having fun with you and killing time. Both he and i trade the same style , VSA. We both post mostly on the vsa thread. If you go back and look at his posts he calls trades way before they happen based on the principles of vsa.

He trades 90% ES and is damn good at it.

so yes he does trade

3 black crows on weekly with doji could send it back to 1.45, a break of 1.4200 would see a test towards 1.40 rather quick. If your new to the game its best to stay out till mid January.

hate to pop this bubble.. but in the mid 70ties ft. knox was opened for a brief time to some media. they dont like cameras much but they were allowed in.. i believe your mentioned friend may be part of the reason it was opened to disprove his statements. anyways it was a big deal back then.. it did quiet the skepics at the time. if i recall correctly their was a lady in charge of ft. knox then. as the seals to enter vaults were broken they allowed these reporters to hold some bars. sure they did not count each one. but the seals were shown unbroken. some were very old. there was even some of europes crown jewels there. but i dont recall what kindom. but i think they were there to protect them during ww2 and maybe forgotten...i would think it could be googled
